Very authentic quaint boutique hotel close to the heart of town. Great staff and restaurant.

A/C was a little hard to figure out but it worked fine.

It was really centric, comfortable and the staff was super nice and attentive.

I have no problems at all everything was good.

Charming colonial/monastery style hotel in the centro of Merida. We had a great stay, very friendly staff and it's very quite and chill, what gives a good balance to the vibrant city.

Even though the old furniture fits perfectly to the hotel, the room and pool got a little "long in the tooth".

Central location, conveniently walkable to most things we came to see. Free welcome drink at the bar. Free valet parking (I prefer to do it myself so I can easily get it anytime, but it worked and they were always available to get it for us). Friendly staff. Pretty courtyard area.

Sheets and towels were old, thin, and had some stains. The shower was really uncomfortable - the water pressure was uneven with some very aggressive streams of water that hurt, and others that were very weak, just misty. The air conditioning units were old - powerful enough to cool the rooms well - but old style thermostats meant there was no way to have them auto turn on or off to maintain a certain temperature and they were loud, so for the night we turned it off and just kept the ceiling fan on. Bathrooms are worn, they do a decent job cleaning them but there is some stuff that won't come out, mold in the corners, some cracks in the tile - our shower was not like the newer one in the photos with sparkly white tile, maybe some rooms have had more upgrades but it's an old building and it shows. With most rooms surrounding the pool in the couryard, every evening we would get a few mosquitos in the room when opening the door to get in and out.
