Villa Orquídea Boutique Hotel

The location is fantastic, offering breakfast with a variety of options, including fresh fruits, juices, and coffee. The staff is friendly and assertive, and the hotel is a renovated classic house in Mérida that exudes a cozy yet modern vibe. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of everything. We were just a short walk from the Plaza Grande(Main square), and only three blocks away from the gastronomic way, or Corredor Gastronómico de Mérida, where you’ll find award-winning restaurants, bars, and cantinas. While it’s a family-friendly boutique hotel, they understand if you’d like to use the pool or access the house amenities after hours, as long as you maintain the serene atmosphere. Overall, I think it was a great choice, and I’m already looking forward to returning.

It was a beautiful boutique hotel, and perfect escape from the afternoon heat! The staff were very hospitable, like making us a take away breakfast if we had an early tour. The onsite breakfast was tasty and able to accommodate dietary requirements. The rooms are very large and beautiful and pool clean and aesthetic.

We arrived late in the evening and they left us instructions on how to get in but the room was absolutely boiling so we had to wait an hour for it to cool down to go to sleep. Possibly leaving the fan on would help that initially intense heat.

Beautiful rooms, tastefully decorated house, delicious breakfast. Griselda was super helpful with recommendations for Merida.

No complaints

Everything was great and easy here. The location was great as many things were in walking distance, no more than 15 minutes away. The service was excellent, they offer breakfast, but if you have an excursion before their breakfast time of 8:00am, they will pack breakfast for you if you let them know ahead of time. Communication was great and fast. Would definitely stay here again if I came back to Merida.
