    We stayed here for two weeks in January 2026 and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our room was spacious and well appointed with a small fridge and television. Front desk and cleaning staff where very accommodating and friendly. The pool area is well maintained and provides a quiet place to enjoy the sun. The location in the center of the city is with walking distance of almost everything and it’s very close to Santa Lucia park which is a great place to stroll and listen to music most evenings. If I ever return to Merida, this is where I’ll stay.

    They double booked our room, I was given keys to a room that was occupied and when I opened the door I realized it was occupied luckily I didn’t walk in on anything! The room we were moved to was not what we had reserved and not great. The water pressure was bad, you could only take a hot or cold shower, the tv didn’t work, the internet was so slow we couldn’t use it. The bed was hard and had a musty smell. We were given a free breakfast which was also subpar. The shower and the tv although reported to the front desk were never fixed in the three days we were there. The airport transport that was offered when I made the booking was not actually available they simply called a taxi which was not big enough for all the luggage we had. So we had to have our luggage on top of us which was very uncomfortable and unsafe. The pool is also not heated nor does it have a safe entry into it, all there is, is a broken latter that drops you into 4ft deep water which is the shallowest depth. Def not safe for young children or ppl who cannot swim.

    It’s a nice hotel with spacious rooms in a beautiful building, but some features are old. Our room’s air conditioning was noisy, and it only had two cooling levels. The sink took a long time to empty.
