A fabulous weekend away with friends, and the location and facilities of the cottage were perfect

Beautiful decorated cottage, very centrally located, with everything you could need in the house during your stay (towels, hairdryer etc) with nice touches by the hosts (sweets, cereals, welcome wine). Double bedrooms were very good sizes, as was the bathroom and living room. All very new, updated facilities but in keeping with the history of the cottage, fabulous creaky floor boards. Kitchen had everything you could need including microwave, oven and coffee machine (though we didn’t use them), it’s so close to the centre we ate out for the two nights we were there. We parked in the Beeches car park which was a short walk and you could pay for multi days, so left the car there as we didn’t need it while in Cirencester. Forum car park is even closer. Communication by the hosts was great. Yeah, I could live there! We all loved it.

No downside. Possibly you wouldn’t all be able to sit down to eat at the table but not a priority for us.

Beautiful cottage, lots of nice little touches, the owner’s kept in touch with updates, really clean, fresh flowers and a nice welcome basket of goodies. Close to town, just a short stroll to the centre.

The cottage was cozy and very centrally located. Everything was clean. Huge soaking tub in the bathroom and well appointed kitchen. The hosts were very responsive.

Had a lovely stay and wanted to spend to in the cottage rather than out

The property was prefect. I am the most critical when it comes to dust and grime but there was literally none! The furnishings were to a super high standard, all John Lewis or Dunelm . The beds were comfortable and smelt lovely. Even the cleaning products, soaps etc, were lovely. So impressed. Had a few comms with the owner, she was lovely too.

Just the location, Cirencester. Although very central to every we wanted to do, that why we picked it the town itself is a bit scruffy.

Beautiful home!

The place is absolutely amazing! We loved everything about it (specially the bathroom!) The hosts were really thoughtful and left a very well stocked kitchen (you don’t see that everywhere!!!) and few delicious snacks! You can tell by the details in the house that they pride themselves in having a beautiful place and making the tenants feel welcome!

Wonderful weekend in Cirencester

Thank you so much we loved our weekend in Cirencester - we loved the small things, enough dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid and toilet roll to last the weekend, salt and pepper that wasn’t out of date 15 years ago. Just makes everything easier! Beds for 3 people were great and I was very cosy in the little box room, would def stay here again. Shower was lovely, heating worked well, lovely comms with the owner when we thought we’d left car keys behind 😂. Fridge is in an odd place but that would not put me off. Really appreciated the earlier check in and later check out too. Huge thanks!

Scones on the photo and maybe a past reviewer suggested there might be scones on arrival- there were not. Not a problem but maybe take that photo down as there is no reason to be disappointed by this little gem of a place ❤️

Well appointed house in a nice, quiet location.

The house was very well equipped and had everything we could possibly require, particularly in the kitchen. The living areas were cosy and the bedrooms were well appointed with comfortable beds. The house was perfect for our needs as a family.

Very conveniently located and facilities including parking was available.

It is a beautifully and practically designed house. We were 5 seniors and just the top of the stairs rails didn’t continue to the arriving floor. We managed well. Kitchen was fully equipped and coffee machine and pods were available.

Beautifully decorated and completely spotless! The location was ideal and the hosts were nothing but welcoming and extremely helpful. Being able to check in early and check out later than expected was an added bonus! We had a fantastic long-weekend in Cirencester thanks to this property.

We knew when booking there was only 1 bathroom, but the only thing that could have improved the stay would have been having a second bathroom/toilet facility. However, it was no real issue and the bathroom at the property was lovely.

Perfect location, gorgeous house and friendly, helpful host what more could you want.

The property was just stunning! The host I was talking to was Aggy and she was lovely. We asked for a slightly later checkout and they were more than accommodating for that too. It was spotlessly clean and comfortable and we literally could have wished for more.

Perfect cosy place for a family of 5

We loved everything about this place, from the courteous hosts, goodies which were on the kitchen table upon arrival, location (as we attended a wedding close by), cosy feel of the place and the cleanliness. Lovely to have to toys available for our 1 year old too. A cot and bedding was also provided for her.

We were a bit puzzled by the heating and hot water system but made it all work somehow.

Fabulous home. Tastefully decorated. Very close to the town centre. Lots of information from the owners prior to our arrival, and a lovely cream tea waiting for us when we arrived! The kitchen had a selection of drinks, snacks & breakfast too. Very comfy beds. Just amazing all round!
