A small corner of Cirencester

The flat was spacious, light, very clean and well-equipped. It had everything 4 adults needed including a dishwasher, and washing machine. It was only a short walk from the town centre, but was very quiet and we all slept really well in the lovely comfortable beds. The private deck looked nice, but as it was a rainy, cold January we didn't get to use it Although we never met Philip he was very communicative and helpful. He even sent an email list of useful places ahead of our arrival. By far the best communication we've ever had I'd definitely recommend this property and would use it again if we get back that way

The downside was the bathroom was always cold for some reason, despite the big towel rail. That said we all used the shower, and 2 of us enjoyed the bath (a novelty for us) The other thing to note, nothing to do with the flat, just it's location. There seemed to be cars parked along the street outside in some very random places. Luckily the road was fairly quiet so getting out of the private off-road parking wasn't an issue

Comfortable weekend in conveniently situated apartment

Very comfortable apartment, with plenty of space for just the two of us. Kitchen was excellent, with plenty of cooking equipment available, including a dishwasher. There was even a folding step in the kitchen so that a short person can reach the higher cupboards, which being missing from every other apartment I've rented, is excellent. and shows thought. Although the bathroom is snug, it does have a bath which also went down well. Having a close parking space and within walking distance (took around 15 mins to walk in) of the centre of Cirencester were also huge plus points. Finally our host Philip kept in contact via email to offer help and suggestions which was very useful.

Bed very comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. The owner responded to a problem immediately.

Bathroom grubby. Cold. Water appeared on the floor. Dust and old tissue behind bedside cabinet. Apartment cold on arrival. Had to get a code for access to the heating. The owner appeared to turn the heating down remotely but we can’t be certain. Noise from flats above.

'Private Deck' Cirencester

'Private deck' was an easy 15-minute walk through parkland into Cirencester. The accommodation was clean and modern with a well-appointed kitchen including a separate fridge/freezer, washer and dishwasher. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone.

Great place to stay.

Clean and tidy, all the contact we needed to get there and in. Philip was very helpful. Easy access to Cirencester centre and well placed for trips around the Cotswolds. Close to supermarkets and a pub down the road. We would stay there again.

Spacious, pleasant and comfortable, with all the comforts of home. Most enjoyable.

Although not in the best part of Cirencester the house was very conveniently located within walking distance of shops and easy to get away from. It was very well equipped for self catering, with many utensils, particularly spacious, quiet, with a sunny courtyard for drying. The bed was comfortable. Great to have a freezer and fridg. Parking at the front door. Our most comfortable stay in England.

The apartment was in a quiet area with own private car park. The flat so well equipped it was like being home and close to the town centre. Beds so comfortable had the best night sleep. The owner was very helpful from start to finish and nothing was to much trouble for him. It was such a brilliant stay. Thank you Philip. Would highly recommend

The location to explore the Cotswolds is excellent. Having a designated car parking space is very much appreciated. The bed was so comfortable and a well equipped and spacious kitchen made self catering easy.

I understand the need for privacy glass but I like to see out a window. Not a major issue as flat bright and airy but it was one of the very few things that was not perfect.

Cirencester haven

The place is cosy, comfy and has all the amenities that you might need, including a dish washer and washing machine. The communication with Philip by email was very good. He sent a very comprehensive list of useful information as soon as I had booked, and replied very quickly to my queries. The property is a short walk into town, but very easy - an almost straight road. There is a parking spot right out side the door for a car - look for the Co-op - we turned one too soon and a neighbour guided us to the right spot. There is a row of take away shops very close to the accommodation if you do not want to cook - see Philip's guide. Diversitea in the Corn Market hall is a lovely place for tea and cake - but there are many others too. We ate at Cote - excellent service especially as it was Valentine's Day. We drove out to the Falcon at Poulton - ten minutes in the car - and can recommend this too. Finally La Passione was a great Italian Restaurant.

The only thing I would mention is that if - like me - you need dark to sleep, the main bedroom does not have black out curtains. I always take airline eye blinds and ear plugs with me everytime I travel just in case - so I had no trouble sleeping. The ear plugs were completely unnecessary. The accommodation is very quiet. The bathroom is small with the shower inside the bath - possibly difficult if you have mobility issues - however the water is wonderfully hot. We have no trouble recommending this place to others.

Nice relaxing pre Christmas Break

Great location very spacious with all the mod cons, Philip is a great host very accommodating. Own parking space directly outside, 10min walk into the lovely town. Our 2nd year having a pre Christmas stay here. Christmas Market & Famers market were lovely. Ps Tree & Freezer we’re a great touch x

Clean and warm flat

Flat was spotlessly clean and warm. Owner put heating on before we arrived which was very welcome!. The beds are very comfortable (no cheap mattresses). Easy access to Cirencester and local shops and takeaways. Friendly host who kept in touch and was very helpful. Would definitely recommend!!!

I would definitely recommend this cute cottage to stay if visiting Cirencester or exploring the area

The location was excellent as we were participating in The Cotswolds Ultra Challenge at the Agricultural College near by. Although we didn't go into the town centre, which was only a short walk away, there were numerous supermarkets to suit all tastes nearby. The accommodation itself is superb. Its a super little cottage with a lot of space and we enjoyed staying there, it had a very relaxing vibe to it. The cottage was perfect for our needs and you could quite easily reside there for longer periods as it is roomy and well equipped.

The only thing I will comment on here is the parking. There is only room for 1 car, which we were advised of. Unfortunately, there is no where else nearby to park, if you require parking for a 2nd car. Fortunately we were there Friday till Monday and we could park our 2 cars ok over the weekend. We did have to move the second car on Monday morning when we were asked.
