I loved staying here. The host Richard was welcoming and friendly.. The home is large and full of interesting old art and period furniture. My bedroom on the first floor was spacious with a reallly comfortable bed, I slept very well. Large and gorgeous shared bathroom with pedestal bath. The kitchen is fully available to cook or heat meals, and there was complimentary tea and pod coffee. Overlooks a lovely spacious garden and commands views of the countryside. Easy walking to town centre and a great peaceful oasis after a long day out in town. Excellent value. I really recommend staying here.

The property is at the top of a steep, private road so access on foot was hard work. More information in the room would be helpful - the code for the internet should be written out rather than guests having to grovel on the floor to access it. The television had various channels available, but it did not seem possible to watch 'live' TV. A brief guide on how to use the TV would be helpful.
