Great apartment, in a great location, a very enjoyable stay.

Location, it’s a great location , near the pool, supermarket, bus, shops, restaurants and beach. The 2 bathrooms are great bonus. When the fan broke, they provided us with a new air conditioning unit, which meant there was 2 ac units in the apartment which was huge delight.

The apartment itself is a great size, furniture is a little tired and could do with some updates but other to that it was perfect.

Found it a bit tired and the patio furniture needs updated large extraction pipe now running up the outside of the apartment and it was noisy from 11am to 11pm and also carried a smell of pizza from the ovens

VERY NOISY 🙉 & SMELLY 🙊 EXTRACTOR FAN BALCONY

Albeit prior to this review we reached out to Booking.com to make the owner aware of our concerns and perhaps consider compensation and avoid the review, as we understand it would most probably have a significant impact on future bookings. I gave them a deadline of a week to get back to us and it has been ignored so am compelled to inform others of a very unacceptable issue….If you want to get to the nub of our issue scroll below to ****BIG PROBLEM**** Breakfast was not included in the charge. We qualified for a 'complimentary' taxi through Booking.com to take us from the airport to our apartment. On arrival at the airport our driver was waiting as arranged. We checked with him that he knew where to take us, however this turned out not to be the case when he eventually tried to drop us off at a completely different location, down some side street, approx 10 - 15 mins away from where we were meant to be. We phoned our meet and greet Juan (Apartment Owners Representative) to get him to speak to the taxi driver to explain the correct address. We eventually met a very grumpy Juan outside the apartment at 10.10pm - No welcome at all and immediately advised us that we had to pay an extra 20 euro's charge as it was after 10pm check in time. We felt this was extremely unfair given the circumstances and that the taxi driver (who was acting on behalf on booking.com) was at fault for the late arrival. Juan didn’t even offer to assist with my partners luggage until we were almost at the apartment. Once inside our apartment we were not shown how anything worked - It appeared Juans priority was to get away & on with his evening after collecting his 20 euros, making sure we almost immediately transferred the €150 deposit and handing us the keys.

There was a wild rooster made his way down the hill towards our resort at 4,30 in morning , it kept a lot off people awake every morning till after 7 in morning crowing very loudly every morning of our holiday apartment that could not fault the apartment has everything we needed for a lovely holiday

Could be great!

We were met by Silvia, who communicated effectively with us, and showed us to the apartment at a time agreed between us. The keys were missing, so Silvia left us her set. The apartment was well equipped, and spacious. Plenty of storage, well stocked kitchen and clean towels in the bedrooms. We have visited before, we stayed in a different apartment, and so we could compare the properties. Pueblo Evita is well placed in a nice area of Benalmadena. With a little care and attention this apartment could be lovely again.

It was evident the maintenance required in the apartment has not been kept up. A drawer in the kitchen did not slide correctly, There was a chunk missing out of the wall in the lounge area, they had seemingly had guests who had made holes in the doors. The holes in the doors had been filled but I think for the price of the apartment and the damage deposit paid, they should have replaced the doors. The soft furnishings could do with a clean, there were stains on them. The bulb didn't fit in the overhead light so flickered and didn't work, there were other lights to use luckily. The shower drain in the main bathroom was backing up, so short showers only! The extractor fan was hanging off the wall in the ensuite shower room, the shower was not adjustable. There was a small amount of blood on the wall and on the bedding in the main bedroom, I suspect whoever made the bed up had just hurt their hand. There was no duvet or blanket for the second bed, so it was cold. There were stains on the mattress protector. The balcony had some chairs that needed painting, others has ripped cushions, plus there were areas on the balcony walls with paint missing, it made it look scruffy. We had to leave our holiday 3 days early to get home because my Dad became gravely ill, I explained this via the messaging service, there was no well wishes, only a message back saying they hoped we enjoyed our stay. The office did not contact us about an issue we had with the key for the security gates. It did become clear after speaking with reception, it wasn't the key but the actual locks on the gates that were temperamental. Silvia messaged us to help during and also after we left to clarify the key issue. I hope the owners use the quieter weeks to carry out some of the much needed maintenance work.

A little outdated & not that clean in places. Air conditioning didn’t work & woke up to puddle of water, spoke to maintenance company who talked us through cleaning & filters full of dust, no problem but not done for v long time. Shower fixture broken off wall en-suite so just 1 shower between 4 of us but again not huge problem but easily fixed. However we would book again

Benalmadena Avenida de las Palmeras

The location was great. Across the street from Mercadona. The pool was always fun. The 2 restaurants in the pool area were fantastic. Our unit had a pool view.

At night the wind would shift and we had to close the windows due to the sewer smell. The patio umbrella and one of the sofas where broken and never heard back from the owner to replace them. We had to rig the umbrella frame with a throw purchase from a street vendor to be able to get some shade. Otherwise the patio would have been too hot use.

No WiFi in the apartment. The WiFi is offered by the Condo for € 6 a day , and doesn’t work during our stay. I’ve make a a claim to the host and Booking several times and we didn’t receive any answer. For instance we didn’t have WiFi all our stay. Bud resolution of the host and booking for the problem.

+ Very good location + resonable price, + kitchen is good equiped

- no internet included, internet cost are 30€ for a week, with very slow connection - the flat was cleaned, but the fridge and the microwave were dirty inside - some hair in the bathroom (cleaning service was not good enough?) - only one electrical socket in bedroom - is it still possible nowadays? - some broken/not repaired furniture parts - no service during you staying, no bed / towel change - no service on the reception, private flat, reception take no responciblity for it
