Lovely homely and clean caravan in a great spot with a fab enclosed balcony!

Wow! What a fantastic holiday! It was a real home from home and more. Gill & Kev were so helpful and even let us know we could get into the property early. We had absolutely everything we needed; tea, coffee, sugar, milk, biscuits and even ice in the freezer which was a real bonus. The caravan was so lovely, clean and homely. We even had fans in the rooms which were a godsend as Gill & Kev had over ordered on the sunshine ☀️ 😂 Loved sat on the balcony watching the water-sports! Really peaceful spot considering it was school hols. Can’t wait to return.

Peaceful, gorgeous, cute and cosy… the perfect stay!

Great views and walks, comfortable couch and beds, plus close to the pub! Gill and Kev have a beautiful caravan and it’s very cute inside - with every little thing you’d want! Also they’re great at communicating and on hand to help.

Lovely clean and cozy home with stunning water views. When the weather allowed, the sunrise from the deck area was beautiful. Great communication from the hosts and everything you could possibly need for a family break was provided. Thanks for a wonderful stay - we will be back!

Lovely long weekend in great accommodation, cosy & homely with fantastic views.

We self catered and had everything we needed to cook whatever we wanted everything was clean & well presented.

There was nothing we didn't like from the accommodation facilities & location. We couldn't have asked for more.

Lovely location and spacious caravan with amazing views and local amenities.

Lovely caravan in really good condition and with amazing views out over the marina. Nice and spacious, and the dogs loved being able to go out on the decking to chill. Well equipped kitchen and decent sized bathroom (good sized shower too!) Surrounding area was great to walk around, with a sandy beach area only a short walk away and a cute lighthouse on the sea wall. Local ski bar was decently priced and tasty home-cooked food, and some of the other local restaurants/takeaways were great too (Da Vinci's Italian was amazing!) Hosts were welcoming and gave clear instructions via text,and had a comprehensive welcome book with lots of recommendations in.

Very minor points for suggestions: - Bed was a little bit too soft for our liking but was okay as it was only for a few nights. - Living area could do with a foot stool or similar so as a couple we can snuggle up together in front of the TV. - Got quite hot and stuffy sometimes - couldn't leave windows open as it got darker due to the intense amount of bugs that were attracted to the light. There was a fan provided but could maybe do with another one (pedestal fan worked great but the tower fan was essentially just a white noise machine). - A towel hook on the wall next to the shower would be handy so not having to reach as far to the rail when stepping out.

A perfect getaway with stunning views – what more could you ask for!

The accommodation was comfortable, homely, and equipped with everything we needed. The decking area truly made our stay — we spent most of our time outdoors enjoying the superb view. The site was peaceful, perfect for a much-needed relaxing and recharging holiday, with brilliant walks from the doorstep to keep our pooch happy. Our hosts, Gill and Kev, were friendly, quick to respond, and took the time to ensure our stay was perfect.

We honestly couldn’t find a single thing to dislike — the only downside was having to pack up and leave such a wonderful place! We could have happily stayed much longer.

Fabulous retreat

The location, and accommodation were fantastic. Lots of beautiful walks, relaxing and comfortable. Excellent communication from the hosts from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble. We visited the Ski bar, and Riva Gelato. Look forward to staying again.

Family break 10/10

We couldn't fault this place . The site was great. Clean and perfect view . The holiday home was kept in perfect condition everything worked and kitchen it fully equipt for what you need. We had a gorgeous stay the view you wouldn't tire from . Kids loved it . Super pet friendly so safe on the patio area. The communication with the owners was brilliant and they had everything ready for us including a High chair , travel cot and a bed gaurd . They even left us milk and party rings for the kids a lovely touch . We can not wait to return Thank you again

Lovely Place

The view was beautiful and it was in a great location. There's watersports available and also a cafe on-site which was super useful. The caravan itself was extremely clean and it had everything we needed for the few days that we were there.

There wasn't really anything that I disliked about our stay. It comfortably housed 4 adults and 2 pugs.

Tranquillity, by name and nature.

Our stay at Tanquility was everything we hoped for and more. The view was beautiful, the caravan clean, well equipped, and a home from home. The walks around the area are lovely including the beach. Communication from Gill and Kev was very clear and helpful, thank you. We loved it so much we booked to return later this year, before we finished our stay!!!

Hidden gem!

The holiday home is situated in a location that has breathtaking views and is perfect for all local attractions. The home was immaculate, warm and comfortable. The hosts have thought of everything. I have stayed in the Lakes several times and this has to have been the nicest home I've stayed at.

There isn't one thing that I didn't like. My only advisory would be to provide an extra toilet roll as I needed to buy a pack whilst there.

Beautiful place

Beautiful view. We spent 3 nights in the cabin, we are a family of five with two chihuahuas😊. The cabin has everything you need. The owners are very nice and very helpful. We were very pleased to receive the ester card and sweet eggs as a welcome gift.Thank you very much Gill & Kev. We will definitely come back.

Great view of the marina and close to the Ski bar. Was extremely clean and had everything I needed. The TV and speaker are great. The owners contacted me right away giving me instruction on how to get to the property and how to access it, they were really helpful! Can’t wait to come back sometime soon.

The caravan was very clean and we'll equipped. Beautiful view from the terrace and seating outside provided :) There was two playparks for kids within 10/15 minutes walk, beach round the corner and water sports literally 2 minutes walk away!

Absolutely amazing, relaxing and beautiful part of the world, can’t wait to return soon.

Such a beautiful, comfy, modern caravan that had everything you could want with the best spot by far on the holiday village. Amazing glass front balcony with the lake right in front of you. We had amazing weather too which was a bonus. Amazing walks and a lovely ski bar with good atmosphere and food. The beach is right next to you also and is beautiful. Loads of places to explore nearby. We’ve already rebooked. Such a hidden gem, highly highly recommend.

Exceptional

Loved the views and the accommodation was really comfortable with everything you needed for a few days. Bed very comfortable. Ski Bar on site had good meals and lots of drinks choices and the staff were very accommodating. Very dog friendly. Try Riva Gelato just over on the campsite which has lovely ice creams to choose from. Easy to get to lots of different places from where we were. We were unfortunate enough to encounter almost a full day of heavy rain but the accommodation has a good TV with lots of channel choices so we were able to keep entertained when we couldn't get out. Communication with the owners was excellent. We will be visiting again.

The location was beautiful with amazing views! It was so relaxing and peaceful. The caravan was nice and cosy with everything you need. We had decent weather which made our holiday even better. The lake view from the caravan was stunning. Lovely area for walks. Will definitely be visiting again.

Great place to stay with the family

The property was extra clean and comfortable. We had a family stay with one child. Our daughter liked she had her own room. There is an extra bathroom door from the bedroom which makes it easier to access. The kitchen is also very good designed. There is everything you need. There is a boiler in the property which provides hot water and heating as you need. Also we loved the sea view, we had our breakfast in the balcony, as it has a table with parasol and 4 chairs apart from the table and chairs inside. To sum up, it was a great stay. We’d highly recommend here.

Wish we'd had time to stay longer.

Booked the property as we were visiting with daughter to go Heavy Horse riding nearby so the location was excellent for this and if you are wanting to explore further. The facilities were excellent - very clean, nicely decorated and quality fitments. Clear information readily available and the communication between hosts and ourselves before and at the end of our visit - spot on. Would recommend.

The weather - 🤣 but then again its the Lakes and when its just a short break you just need to be prepared! Didn't detract though as we had a lovely time.
