I loved so much this apartment!

It is located 4 minutes walk from a big city parking place (it's a paid parking, and they have different prices depending the time of the year. At the end of January 2026, the price was 0.5 EUR/ hour). I had no issue to find a parking place available there and it was easy to carry my luggage to the apartment. The apartment is located really close to the city center, just a few minutes walk. Although it was end of January and still cold outside, the apartment was warm when I got there because the owners made sure to turn on the air conditioner for me. I loved how the apartment is decorated, colorful and very cozy. Although not too big, but very well organized. The bed was fantastic, had enough blankets to keep me warm during night and the pillows were excellent for me. Soft enough to not wake up with a neck pain. Everything was clean and all the details carefully selected. Waking up with the view of Rovinj's old town was just perfect!

It was a very pleasant stay. Period.

The apartment is as beautiful, comfortable, spacious & fine-decorated as the picture shows, with the sleeping room upstairs overlooking the apartment. There are two windows facing the wonderful seaside, and downstairs is a quiet, cobbled lane which leads to the city centre within 1-2 minutes. We were warmly welcomed by the hosts.

The sleeping room has slanting roof, but with enough care that shouldn't be a problem.

Nice location, great host and nice city

The location was perfect, and the host was very hospitable regarding everything.

The bed wasn’t capable for 2, the mat-trace wooden holders were moving around and we all the time had to fix it, otherwise we were falling down.

The apartment was very good and well designed with a nautical theme. Old town is on your doorstep and there is plenty to see.

The only negatives were the hot water in the shower was limited and there was no tea towel for washing dishes

We LOVED this place, it is so beautiful! The host was so passionate about it and was very welcoming. We loved every little detail and the story behind it, it was really amazing! The location is perfect, the view is really nice.. It was perfect.

Great little apartment right in old town with wonderful hosts.

This apartment is in a most fabulous location to visit Rovinj. Both Aphra and Leo were readily available and helpful. The apartment is nicely decorated.

Only thing that would have made visit more comfortable would have been a floor heater to provide a bit of warmth. Temperatures were cool for October and the apartment was a bit cool.

A great location for exploring the old town - enthusiastic and kind hosts

Great location for the ferry the next morning - the little view out the window was gorgeous.

In our opinion there were far too many (naff) cushions on the bed and then only not 2 real sleeping pillows. Communication around meet and greet was a bit difficult and confusing. The 4 level stair climb was tricky.

A great location with friendly and helpful host

The property is in a great location, an easy walk to all the action in the old town. Leo was extremely helpful, showing me in, making restaurant recommendations and telling me where to park for free. The apartment is at the top of the building with a view to the sea, it was spacious and had everything I needed.

Overlooking the rooftops

Host meet us in the parking area and it was a short walk to apartment. There were many stairs (up 6 flights) so be prepared! The location was excellent however and view from room wonderful.

Awesome.

The host met up with us to give us the keys and to collect our passport information. So there is a bit of coordination effort that has to happen. Thankfully, the host is friggin' amazing, so it's a win for everyone. He'll tell you a bit about the place (Him and his wife restored and decorated everything) and they're available to answer questions while you're there such as food recommendations, closest beaches, etc. Parking was a bit tricky/confusing for us. But we just called the host, and got it all sorted out. You WILL have to bring your luggage from the closest car-accessible road to the apartment. The apartment is located in a pedestrian zone. The walk is short, so unless you have a LOT of luggage, you should be fine. There are only staircases up to the apartment. They are located on the top floor. The risers on the last set of stairs are kinda high, but it's okay. AWESOME apartments! My group of 5 friends stayed in both apartments they had available. One of them is a duplex - King/Queen size bed up on a loft and a sofa bed on the lower floor. The other is just one floor - a one bedroom apartment - a King/Queen size bed in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the living area. Reportedly, the sofa beds were comfortable. Once the sofa beds were open, it's a tad tight to manuever around with all the luggage spread out. But just be a bit more organized, and everything should be fine. LOVELY spaces!

Solo travel in Rovinj.

It was such a lovely surprise to enter the apartment (even after climbing the steep stairs). They had left the aircon on, so it was lovely and cool. It's beautifully and thoughtfully decorated and very comfortable. A lovely surprise was to receive a gift from the owners, the first time ever.

It was a lovely and comfortable appartment with all the ammenities you need during a trip. It was clean, AC was strong and hosts were kind and helpful. Location was very central.

A great location in Rovinj, with a killer view.

This place was in the perfect location to explore Rovinj, and the view out the window was fantastic, especially at sunset. The hosts were very nice and helpful, even carrying one of our bags up the many stairs. The main living area/kitchen was comfortable and nicely decorated, with a well-equipped kitchen. The host directed us to a place where we could park for free, since the lot right below the apartment is quite pricey. The place was very quiet, except for the sounds of the birds.

The internet went down several times. The second time the host brought the repeater to the apartment which helped. The main negative is the sleeping area. It is in a loft, accessed by a very steep staircase, almost a ladder. We left our suitcases in the living area rather than try to take them up those stairs. Coming down in the dark was a bit of a challenge. The ceiling in the loft is very low, and my husband hit his head a few times and he's 5'8".

Leo and Aphra's apartment is a little jewel nestled in the heart of Rovinj!

Leo and Aphra's apartment is a little jewel nestled in the heart of Rovinj. The flat is very cosy and filled with interesting objects and forniture curated by Leo himself. The position is great and you can even see the sea from the kitchen window. I really enjoyed staying there and I highly recommend going as a solo traveller. Both Aphra and Leo were very kind and helpful! The bed is comfortable as well as the sofa in the living room. There's a window on the roof of the bedroom which doesn't have blinders but a curtain you can use to cover the window, I quite liked it as I don't like sleeping in total darkness. If you don't like having any light, I suggest bringing a sleep mask. The bathroom has a large shower and is well equipped with soaps, hairdryer and plenty of towels. I didn't use much the kitchen but I appreciate the kettle and the selection of herbal teas. As they mention in the description, the apartment is situated at the top floor of an old traditional building so you'll have to climb up a few flights of stairs. Leo was very kind and helped me carry my suitcase.

The most fun and cozy apartments with intage decor and stunning view

Owner Leo came and picked us up when we got lost on the way to the apartment, carried our suitcases up, was very friendly and helpful. The apartments are colorful, fun, vintage style decor, cozy, with a stunning view of the sea. We enjoyed our stay so much that we decided to stay extra just to have more time in these apartments. We wished our itinerary allowed for more time in Rovinj and in these apartments. Highly recommended.

Everything was excellent, but be aware that there are narrow stairs and we were on the third floor so make sure you're fine with stairs.

Charming town/apartment, quiet street, wonderful hosts and great value - 10/10!

Leo and Aphra's apartment was incredible! Amazing views of the Adriatic and old town from the window and as well as from the skylight. The apartment is located close to old town (~5 minute walk) but on a quiet street slightly removed from the touristy area, which we loved. There were plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The apartment is located in an area that is inaccessible to cars; we simply contacted Leo who told us where to meet him (parking lot nearby - 12 euros/day). We loaded our luggage into his van and he dropped us off at the apartment - check-in was a breeze. The apartment was beautifully decorated and had fantastic woodwork by Leo. The apartment feels like you're inside of a ship! Rovinj is a beautifully charming town - we had some of the best mixed drinks we've ever had at Mediterraneo bar, truffle pasta at Tone and a nightcap at Bar La'Moura - it was great to experience the flavors of Istria! We were a short walk from the public swimming area which we took advantage of a few times. Rocks are slippery / jagged - water shoes advised! We were amazed at how many cool fish we saw in the little grotto area. Leo and Aphra were extremely friendly and kind people, really a pleasure to meet them!
