The space
Located just outside the city walls, in the heart of Chester.
Just a 5-minute walk from the shops, restaurants, racecourse, and river. This stunning Victorian terrace is nestled away in a quiet spot, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
The whole property has been recently refurbished, to bring a sense of luxury and coziness for your stay – and is a real ‘home from home’.
The house sleeps 6 should you require it. With two generous sized bedrooms – and the option of a double sofa bed available should you wish to extend your party to 6 people.
Downstairs is an open plan living/dining area complete with plenty of comfy seats, should you want a quiet night in watching TV (SKY, Netflix + WIFI included) or entertain with a few drinks prior to a night in the city, or a day at the races. Our electric wood burner stove, soft lighting, and cozy interiors make this the perfect home for your weekend away.
The kitchen is brand new and has everything you need to cook up a beautiful meal or serve up a takeaway. Flowing through the kitchen, it leads you to a pantry (inclusive of dishwasher + washing machine), before opening up into an enclosed rear courtyard – perfect for some pre-drinks in the summer sunshine.
Free on-street parking is available, however, it is quite a tight street to park on – plenty of parking available on adjacent streets should you struggle.
The house is professionally cleaned after each visit, and all linen + towels are professionally laundered – adding that extra touch of luxury to your stay.
The property is also conveniently located a short drive away from Chester Zoo, The Cheshire Ice Cream Farm, and Cheshire Oaks Outlet. The train station is around a 5-minute drive away/25-minute walk. We also have a lovely café based on our street, which does the best coffee, pastries, + brunch.
We have lived in Chester for many years after first studying in the city for university. If you need any recommendations on where to eat or drink, please do not hesitate to get in touch – we are more than happy to help.
Please note, that the linen and duvet for the sofa bed is only left at the property for booking of 5 or 6.
