Clean and convenient apartment for a short stay

Comfortable apartment, ideal for a short stay in Baden-Baden. I stayed for two nights. Located just a few steps from Baden-Baden train station, which is very well connected to the city center by bus at all times of the day. Easy and convenient self check-in. Small but well organized and, most importantly, very clean. Although I ate out during my stay, the apartment has everything needed for cooking: stovetop, kitchenware, fridge, and sink.

The apartment is small, but exactly as expected and described.

Baden Baden Family trip

Clean room and bathroom, safe location, facilities and other things were good prepared for our stay in the kitchen. Easy check in and check out. Room was warm and fresh. Towels and shampoo in the bathroom.

Bed was not that comfortable. The floor was damaged next to the bathroom and we had sometimes problem to close the door or to open it again. I think maybe other people didn't use the bathroom properly and water damaged the floor from the other side of the room. I think that should be fixed.

Location was good and can easily be reached from the train station.

We stayed for one night in one of the apartments. The facilities, the cleanliness and the location of the apartment were fine. However, in the morning we noticed that the apartment was full of ticks. They were crawling around on the walls, ceilings, the floor and even inside the lamps on the ceiling. We tried to avoid bringing them home, but found one later on in our luggage. For this reason I would not book another stay in this apartment. The tick can be seen in the attached image. One can see they appear to be blacklegged ticks in their larvae form. At this stage, they are actively seeking a host.

Fair accommodation in Baden Baden

The facility is centrally located close to train station. It was also perfectly clean.

We have been placed on the ground floor where the noise from the cars is loud. Since it was really warm and there is no air conditioning, we had the windows open, and it was really noisy. There is also no windows blinds so a ot of light enters the room too.

Terrible and never again

Close to supermarket and train station

Just right next to the street. The sound insulation is extremely poor, absolutely no way to sleep even with all windows closed and ear plugs in. You will have insomnia and palpitations when staying in the room. I left my own bath towel (since they don’t provide so I have to prepare it by my own) in the room (I slept terribly and almost feel sick when I left the property) and wanted to go back to pick it up. The staff replied message very slow and was not helpful at all. They replied me the next day in an extremely short notice (less than 1 hour and 30 minutes before the pick up time) and asked me if I could come. I couldn’t mange it of course because I was already in Freiburg. I replied to them and asked if there was another time can be scheduled, then they never replied. So fortunately it is just a bath towel this time, imagine if you left a laptop or a iPad or something else valuable, I doubt you can ever get the thing back either.

Lovely

Comfortable room, facilities good. Has small stove top and small fridge with hot water kettle. No microwave. Short walk from Baden-Baden train station which is a great spot for catching multiple buses onwards to main city. Easy to catch bus to and from airport too!

Not in central Baden-Baden but easy 20-30 minute bus ride from city to accommodation. Not much happening in the area, but nice and quiet!

The bed needed maintenance. It cracked everywhere and made a lot of noice. The blanket was pretty short. It is 1,82 and a normal size for a dutch guy (we are tall tho) is 185. It was cold. :(

Convenient location. Easily walkable from the train station and bus stops. Basic and minimalist, but very clean had everything I needed.

I had trouble finding the door code, so maybe that could be made more prominent. Maybe it was just me, but it took me a while to scroll through the many messages and spot it. I also saw someone else having the same issue on another day. But once I found it, it was easy to get in.

Clean and Cosy Room, but Not Without Drawbacks

The location was convenient – a short walk from the train station and near several large supermarkets, yet in a calm and quiet area (yeah it's not close to the city centre, but ideal for those going to the airport in the morning). The room was clean, with a comfortable bed and pillow, and a kitchen that included a stove, washing liquid, sponge, and a towel. There was a good amount of furniture and storage space, and the Wi-Fi worked well. A hairdryer was also provided, though not mentioned in the listing.

Communication with the host was rather poor. I had questions on the day of arrival but received no reply, which made the check-in process more stressful. The bathroom had a bad smell that didn’t go away, and the room lacked air conditioning – it got quite hot in the sun. The fridge was extremely noisy, which made sleeping difficult. Kitchenware was also disappointing: there was no microwave, no kitchen knife, no fork, no salt/pepper (although there were containers), and no oil. The kettle was heavily scaled and clearly had never been cleaned. The dishware was chipped and felt quite worn. Lastly, as is said in the description, only small towels are provided – but honestly, I can’t think of a reason for this other than the owner cutting costs. It’s a big drawback for backpackers!

It's a very good apartment for a short stay

I liked how easy it was to collect the property keys on arrival, that there was a little kitchen and a clean bathroom. Also there was a TV where you could use Netflix, Prime and so on.

You could hear every noise that came from the hallway, even the alarms in the morning from other apartments.

Baden Baden Stay

The value was very good.

I actually never saw any staff except the cleaning staff. Unfortunately, when we opened windows the smoke from outside smokers did come inside. We had to sleep with the windows closed to keep this from happening. It was quite warm.

Good for one night

Super close to the station and the Aldi, Lidl and penny. Only a 30-1 hour bus ride from the centre. Very nice street. Room was small but good. Had a fridge and stove. I didn't use either. Bit hot and I don't know if there was an AC or a heater, I couldn't understand by myself as there was no receptionist. They are very quick and efficient to answer any message sent on booking.com. Room had the necessity. And had toilet paper. It was small but honestly more than enough space to open a big lugagge. The keylock was a bit confusing but eventually I figured out that the key was inside the lock at the back of the door. WiFi worked. For one night it was good. Shower was really strong and I enjoyed that. Bed was good and comfortable.

No lift/elevator. You have to lift your luggage up. The place to store lugagge after check out wasn't locked. There was a camera and my lugagage was safe but I was a bit on edge as anyone could have come and taken it. There was no person to meet or ask questions. Bonus cause I could check in any time but would have liked to ask some things in person. Only a thick blanket / duvet was provided. I would have enjoyed a sheet to sleep under as it was hot. Saw two small minor bugs but it seems to be normal in that part of Germany so I wouldn't worry.

Great location near train station and good local facilities - we definitely recommend Kleiner Magier and Peter’s Gute Backstube. Nice quiet neighbourhood, easy check in process. Exactly what we were looking for in a one night stopover.

We couldn’t get the hob to work to make coffee in the morning - the light didn’t work so we couldn’t see if it was on, so lots of fiddling but we gave up on the end. We only received the message that we’d need to bring our own large towels after we’d started our journey so it would have been good to have this information in advance. In the end, the small towels provided were fine for us.

Quilts on bed could have been cotton. Seemed it was polyester. TV didn't work. Magenta tv was just reloading every couple of seconds and "normal" tv was not working because antenna was missing.

Superb

Very new and clean. Big opening windows. Even had small kitchen section with stuff (not that we needed anything)

No place to hang towels or npthing to open laugage on. Nice to have salt&pepper shaker or sugar dish but that doesn not help when it was empty. There could be a couple of single instant coffee or tea bags. Blankets were too tick fpr.sommer and there was no ther option.

It was in a good distance from the train stationm but a bit too hot for summer.

The room was very clean and the location is perfect for someone arriving by train. The room had a little kitchenette and the hosts sent me a list of close-by shops and cafes which was helpful.

The room was very hot and very difficult to air out at night. It was located near a school so in the morning you can expect some noise if you room is facing the street.
