An enjoyable stay in a well-presented apartment

The apartment was just right for us, in a residential area not too far from the Weststadt shopping area. It was important to us that we were able to bring our dog. The apartment was in good condition, with its furniture and furnishings looking reasonably new. The kitchen was fairly well equipped for a short stay and everything worked! The week we spent there was very hot but the apartment always felt pleasantly cool. Parking at the apartment was easy for us - there was always a free space in the available parking. Baden-Baden is well situated to explore the Black Forest, which is beautiful - with drives and walks through stunning countryside, villages and towns.

For a stay of a week, only two electric rings wasn't quite enough for cooking. Although there was enough crockery, glasses and cutlery, it was a bit of a shame that the two wine glasses available were completely different sizes! A matching pair would have been better. The small garden was fine for our dog to wander around but it would have been a bit dangerous for unattended children, as there was a steep fall at the end. It looks as if work is in hand to add a better protected patio at the end of the garden. The garden was a bit scruffy too, though that didn't worry us.

Couldn’t have been better.

The apartment was spacious, neat and tidy. It had a nice kitchen. The location had a good public transport connection.

The WiFi didn’t work on the day we arrived. We had to call/SMS every day regarding the issue. It was on and off. We had a poor connection that lasted for an hour on one of our 4 days of stay. On the fourth night, the room heaters were switched off. On the day we left, there was no warm water.

Received the code for the key box in good time, the area was very peaceful and quiet, and you could really enjoy the fresh air and the views.

Could offer some small essentials like instant coffee and some sugar and salt.

Good base for BAD but perhaps other options for Black Forest.

I arrived a little earlier than expected but was able to get the key and enter upon arrival. The location was good for my purposes. The landlady seemed friendly.

Photos of the property show different flats, with different facilities, which can be misleading. There was a lingering odour of (Asian) cooking in this flat, the TV controller didn't work properly, and there was bizarre mix of plates, cups etc - enough for one perhaps, but also completely pointless items.

It was everything I had hoped and more, I managed to feel home for a few days in Baden Baden

Very very happily surprised by the sauna, I had not understood it was going to be a private sauna somehow and that was amazing! Great comfort, top parking spot, great communication.

I wish we had a microwave. I tend to cook a lot and have a lot of leftovers

Inakzeptabler Geruch

Ruhige Lage.

- Starker Geruch nach Zigarettenrauch in der gesamten Wohnung, der auch durch Dauerlüften nicht verfliegt. Das ist für eine als Nichtraucherwohnung beworbene Unterkunft vollkommen inakzeptabel. Eine entsprechende Beschwerde bei der Vermieterin blieb unbeantwortet. - Teile der Wohnung (vor allem die Terrasse) waren nicht gereinigt. Es klebten bzw. lagen Essensreste auf dem Tisch und am Boden. - Ausstattung (z.B. in der Küche) gemessen am Preis eher spärlich und teilweise renovierungsbedürftig (z.B. Dichtungsleisten der Dusche).

Jest dobrze, ale dobrze byłoby poprawić niektóre rzeczy

Bardzo wygodne łóżko, na prośbę o naprawę internetu oraz większą ilość ręczników, zostało już to zrobione tego samego dnia po 2 godzinach. Wtedy internet działał już bardzo dobrze

Niestety były niedociągnięcia z czystością, toaleta była brudna, niektóre elementy stare. Otrzymałam tylko jeden ręcznik na 1,5 tygodnia…Na bardzo duży minus brak chociażby herbaty czy kawy, której można by się napić przyjeżdżając w nocy gdzie to jest standardem. Internet nie działał, gdybym nie powiadomiła personelu.. bo potrzebna była wtyczka, ale było wiadomo kiedy przyjadę. Przydałby się również jakiś dywan albo dekoracje, które ociepliłyby trochę ten wystrój.
