Claremont hotel

Very clean, and good staff, very helpful.

Heating wasn't on, bed was tiny, and stairs to the top floor was very narrow for carrying luggage.

Highly recommend lovelt getaway

The hotel staff were lovely and very helpful, room was really nice and plenty of space for a couple of days. Bed was comfy, room stayed nice and warm, shower was amazing with lots of space. Definitely recommend the hotel, walking distance to the trams, only a few minutes from the town. Ideal little getaway spot

The only issue we had was that the bathroom didn't seem to get warm, and as it was November wasn't ideal. But not the end of the world and would still highly recommend

Perfect location for quick, easy and cheap access to the city centre.

The triple bed room was on the 2nd floor (the last set of stairs were pretty steep) and the room was pretty chilly BUT the staff offered to help carry luggage upstairs and provided an electric heater within a couple of minutes so is really not a negative.

The young man who received us on arrival on the 23rd of October was very polite and professional in his duty, while the lady we met the morning we checked out on the 24th was even much more. The only minus is the telephone service. I called but the telephone is never answered. I wanted to call and appreciate them, but the phone never rings. Otherwise, I loved the place and would likely go back there whenever I am in Nottingham. Blessings

Fantastic, pleasantly surprised and would definitely stay again.

The hotel was amazing, for the price I paid I wasn't expecting it to be so nice , the staff was friendly and helpful and the room was clean.

Unfortunately the guy sleeping next door snored really loud and it was coming through the walls , he banged about and was on his phone too ( I don't blame the hotel for that but shame the walls feel pretty slim) And the WiFi was rubbish and kept cutting out but it was free so I didn't mind.

It's close to the NEC, and it's friendly and comfortable. So good, im coming back at the end of November. Whenever going to the NEC I will always book here.

Such good value for money!! We had two rooms between 5 people. Smooth and easy check in. Very clean and modern rooms. Lots of plugs points, tea and coffee facilities and books. Free parking on site. Brilliant and would recommend

Hôtel full of drunks, the scariest place I stayed

Cost- free parking

From 10.30pm till 5.45am there were drunk people in an out the rooms. Shouting on the corridors. My son and I were scared and I tried to call reception. The number on the website is wrong. We didn’t sleep at all.

Great value for money with decent transport connections (15 walk to tram) into city centre.

Very good value for money. Room was very clean, shower had good water pressure, and the check in was very easy.

The postcode/address led to the back of the building for some reason, which confused my cab driver! Though that may have been his fault.

Cosy and welcominf!

Lovely, beautiful place, friendly staff and cosy space, everything needed to feel settled and rested there. I also appreciated that I had asked for a lower floor due to disability and they were happy to provide the accessible option.

Wish we could have an earlier check in, but they tried and didn’t receive my mail of my request asking.

Driving away next morning !!!!

1. Was not mentioned there was no lift. After a long had walk up to the second floor. 2. Then opened bathroom and came off its rails and hit me on the head! It was a struggle to put it safe. Anyone smaller or a child would have been seriously hurt ! 3. Then met the large spider in corner. 4. At this point tried ringing downstairs but no reply. 5. The room was disgusting with yellow blobs on the wall. 6. During the it was so noisy that could not sleep, from other guests. 7. The bed was next to the window which was single glazed. This meant it was very cold. 8. The best bit was driving away from this horror show !!!! 9. Please all read this and avoid !!!!

Back Room disappointing experience

Unfortunately on this visit, I was allocated a room at the back of the building which backs onto the neighbouring street. It was bad enough having to put up with a constant hooping type cougher in one of the backing homes which went on most of the night. The next morning ( 8am ) there was the constant noise from a disrespectful person with the playing of loud drum n base with rapping,this did not help with my already sleepless night. I had driven up from London & was in need of a relaxing sleep.
