An ideal stay for pilgrims or anyone wanting to fully immerse themselves in the spiritual heart of Assisi.

Staying here was truly a special experience. The location could not have been more perfect — right in the heart of the old town of Assisi, surrounded by charming stone streets, historic buildings, and the peaceful atmosphere that makes this city so unique. Everything felt within reach, yet it was still quiet and serene. It’s just a five-minute walk to the breathtaking Basilica of Saint Francis of Assisi and also very close to the Sanctuary associated with Carlo Acutis, making it an ideal stay for pilgrims or anyone wanting to fully immerse themselves in the spiritual heart of Assisi. Being able to walk to these sacred sites so easily added so much meaning and convenience to the trip. The host was exceptional — genuinely kind, warm, and attentive without ever being intrusive. They struck the perfect balance: available when needed, offering helpful guidance and care, yet fully respectful of your privacy so you can enjoy the space and the experience on your own terms. One of the most unforgettable parts of my stay was waking up early and watching the sunrise over the Umbrian countryside. The view of the rolling hills blanketed in soft morning fog felt almost cinematic — like something straight out of a movie. The golden light slowly spreading across the landscape created a peaceful, almost spiritual moment that set the tone for the entire day. Overall, it was a beautiful, restful, and deeply memorable stay. I would absolutely return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Assisi.

No heating and unresponsive host

Sometimes you come to your accommodation, and you wonder if you came to the right address or if there was a management change. Well, this is one of those. It seems the highly-rated Gabriela from before was replaced by unresponsive Claudia. The property failed to provide any heating, despite it being listed as included without restrictions. Both the thermostat and air-conditioning unit were non-functional. I messaged the host on my arrival day, Claudia, how to turn heating either in the air conditioning unit or the central heating. She had replied only the next day near checkout, stating heating starts in November. Another guest confirmed the same issue with hearing. Technical checks (via ChatGPT and online manuals) showed the air-conditioning supports heating, but the remote lacks the heat mode so no heating. The central heating unit with the thermostat was disconnected as confirmed by Claudia. I had provided all this information to Claudia on my arrival day, but received, unfortunately, no response.

You Can’t go Wrong

Quiet unassuming little B&B. clean as a whistle. Room sized for 2 for a short stay in Assisi which is prevalent. Recently renovated or built. The bathroom is large and exceedingly clean. The shower although small is wonderful. No Lift. central location. Be prepared to go up and down hills. Town not for the weak of legs. cafe/bar next door with insanely good, baked in place, patisserie. The staff, smiling and friendly.

The location is very convenient, just a short walk from the main hall, the kitchen provides a coffee machine and a microwave for guests, and the bed is very comfortable.

The bathroom shelves are quite rusty and old. Upon arrival, I learned from the landlord that the kitchen gas stove could not be used. The online photos showing a full kitchen may be misleading—the only available appliances are a coffee machine and a microwave. The kitchen environment was somewhat untidy, and the drawers felt slightly greasy.

We really enjoyed this accommodation, but know that it has stairs.

The room was so clean and spacious, hot shower, comfortable pillows, helpful staff. Quiet at night. Fairly close to the main tourism areas, although Assisi is on a very steep hill and does require strong legs.

Spacious, value for money guesthouse in good location.

Excellent value for money, great location in the center of Assisi, spacious room and bathroom. Fridge in the room and coffee/tea making facilities in communal kitchen. There is aircon in the room (booking’s filter function does not pick up on this).

Nothing I didn’t like but it would have been nice to have some basic information and things like recommendations for restaurants. The kitchen has glasses and mugs but it would be good to have some plates and bowls for breakfast. Note that there are no supermarkets in the old part of Assisi, so if you need something like milk, either bring it or be prepared for quite a walk.

A gem of a place

What a beautiful place. Located in the heart of the historic centre. The room was stunning, with very elegant furniture and modern bathroom facilities. Gave a sense of luxury at a very affordable price. Quiet and comfortable. A very relaxing stay. Highly recommended!

Attractive room and great breakfast!

I love the aesthetics of the room which had pretty and interesting touches. The mattress was comfortable and thick adding much to an already high bed frame... not a complaint. The B & B was not far from the main sights; the Basilica of St Francis and the main square, etc and so was ideal for exploring the old town of Assisi. Gabrielle, the host, personally prepared the pastries and cakes, and was on site to make us coffee for breakfast and chat with us. There was a great selection of cereal too.

The vehicular traffic of the road and voices of pedestrians wafting up to the unit made it a little difficult to fall asleep. We could told that there is a rule about no a/c in Assisi.

Very cosy place!

Very cosy place. We loved the combination of a modern renovation and ancient details. Very kind host who agreed to wait for us as we arrived by train very late. The place is close to all main sights of Assisi. Lovely breakfast included.

Die lage ist optimal. Im zentrum der stadt und dennoch sehr ruhig. Wunderschön eingerichtete Zimmer begrüssen einen. Die küche ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht, um sich selbst zu verpflegen. Und für die großartige Unterstützung in einer Notsituation kann ich mich gar nicht genug bedanken.

とても綺麗なお部屋で、暖房も良く効いて暖かく快適に過ごせました。ダブルベッドは掛布団もとてもいいものを使っていて、心地良く眠れました。シャワールームも広めで熱いお湯もたっぷり。冷蔵庫もあった。共用コーヒーマシンがありいつでもコーヒーが飲めた。宿の目の前にミニバスのバス停があったのも良かった。

お部屋の窓からの景色が屋根裏で残念でした。共用キッチンは電子レンジのみでした。

Bella la posizione e la struttura calata e accogliente

La posizione è ottima perché a pochi passi dalla basilica, da ristoranti e al centro da Assisi. Lo staff è stato disponibile per il nostro check in, le camere pulite e accoglienti, arredate con il riuso di antiche porte. Bellissimo il tavolo della cucina a disposizione degli ospiti.

Consiglierei l'identificazione della differenziata, perché abbiamo trovato l'immondizia degli ospiti precedenti mischiata... in un unico cesto...

Posizione centrale, accanto ad un ottimo bar. Stanza spaziosa con bagno molto grande. Silenzioso e tranquillo.

Il bagno rimane un po' freddo e i cuscini sono un po' scomodi. Manca uno specchio a figura intera. Per il resto tutto molto bello e funzionale.

Struttura situata in una posizione perfetta per visitare Assisi. Vicina ai parcheggi Mojano e Giovanni Paolo II quindi comoda per chi ha necessità di parcheggiare l’auto.

Sarebbe stato carino se nella cucina dove c’era una macchinetta del caffè ci fossero state anche disponibili le capsule. Quando la mattina del check in siamo arrivati e ci é stata presentata la cucina ci è stato detto “qui trovate caffè e tisane … quello che hanno rimasto” . Noi pensavamo che venissero rifornite ma così non è stato. Per quanto riguarda le tisane, non c’era una specifica su se si poteva usare l’acqua del rubinetto per farle ( non sapendo se fosse potabile abbiamo evitato) e non c’erano bottiglie acqua da utilizzare fatta eccezione per quelle del frigobar a pagamento. Carina l’idea della cucina a disposizione, un pó meno il fatto che poi non potesse essere realmente sfruttata. Infine, la porta di accesso alla camera aveva una serratura poco funzionale, e la porta del bagno non deve essere chiusa del tutto perché diversamente potrebbe bloccarsi come è successo a noi durante la notte.

Sauber, top renoviert vielen Stilelementen von früher (Steinboden, Holztüren,…). Gemütlicher Frühstücksraum für Kaffee/Tee. Absolut ruhige und dennoch zentrale Lage. Alles klimatisiert und mit sehr viel Atmosphäre. Da können sich einige Hotels ne Scheibe davon abschneiden mit ihrem Standard-Touri-08/15-Programm.

Struttura molto belle, di recente ristrutturazione. Stile bellissimo, molto curato. Letto molto comodo, bagno molto ampio con finestrella. Pulizia impeccabile. Frigobar disponibile in camera e zona comune dotata di caffè e tisane da poter preparare in autonomia comprese nella tariffa. La posizione centrale, a 5 minuti a piedi dalla Basilica di S. Francesco. Como estar en casa! La mejor elección en pareja o solo si quieres vivir Assisi de noche.

Gabriela fue de lo más amable al recibirme. Dispone de una pequeña cocina con nevera y un buffet de cafes e infusiones. La habitación acogedora. Baño grande y ducha genial. Aire acondicionado necesario con el calor acumulado en planta diván. Fue como estar en mi propia casa.

Por mi parte sin problema, pero calor obligo a tener casi toda la noche el aire acondicionado puesto, y el acceso a habitación es subiendo 2 plantas por escaleras

Dila assisi está en el corazón de assisi alto, y a pasos de todo lo que necesitas ver en esta maravillosa ciudad, cerca a la basílica y a la casa natal de san francisco y a pasos de restaurantes, tiendas de souvenirs, artesanías y gelaterías. amamos dila assisi, por todos sus detalles, está impecáblemente decorado, detalles como cepillos de dientes y cepillo para el pelo para nuestro uso, muchas recomendaciones de assisi y un baño impecable de limpio, muy hermosamente decorado. una ventanita desde donde se veía el atardecer y daba a la calle principal, fué la cereza del pastel, que me hizo recostarme en la cama simplemente a admirar la ciudad mas hermosa que visitamos en nuestro eurotrip. muchas gracias por todo

parece que se desconectó el wifi- pero en realidad nosotros no lo reportamos, el último día funcionó perfectamente, por lo que creemos que había pasado alguna cosa y nosotros no dijimos.
