Darnholm Cottage

When we walked into the property it smelled amazing, even after 2 nights it still smelt clean and fresh. The hosts contacted us prior with directions which made finding the accommodation easy. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The location is perfect in the heart of the village. There was a folder with all information we needed for the cottage and surrounding area which was a lovely touch. Cookies and prosecco on the table when we entered which was so thoughtful. Clean, spacious, modern but still within touch with the cottage architecture. There was a baby gate available under the bed incase of small children which gave us peace of mind when our children were in bed. We were a family of 4 but also would be perfect for a couple or family of 5. We will definitely be back again.

Everything was lovely. Very near the centre of the village but quietly tucked away in the cobbled lanes. The kitchen was immaculate and well designed. Great for having simple meals. The bedrooms were comfortable and spacious.

There was nothing to dislike.

It was very cosy and well-appointed. Characterful decor.

Everything! The location, the communication with the owners, the decor, the facilities… everything was spot on
