Spacious apartment in good location, no aircondition

The place is very spacious and communication with the host was great. The accomodation was clean. The location felt a bit outside of the center at first, but we realized quickly that we loved the area since there are lots of great restaurants and cafés in the area. It is only a short wal to everything else. The host provided a great list with recommendations and services. Especially the taxi service was very handy.

We were there in april and it was very hot. Even though the host provided three very effective fans it was still hard to cool the place down for the night. I guess this is only a problem in the hot months and could easily be fixed by installing sun reflecting curtains or a (mobile) aircondition unit. Wit that and some minor renovation here and there it could be a perfect place to stay even longer.

The apartment was in the perfect place in Oaxaca. I loved it because I felt like I was actually walking to my own home at the end of each day. It wasn’t right in the middle of everything and I felt completely apart of the neighborhood, the barrio that I was in. The apartment was tremendously comfortable, and I can say as much as I loved visiting Oaxaca it was also a wonderful time spent in the space resting between my going out and exploring the city and surrounding area. I try to come back to the apartment a different way and found the neighborhood above where this neighborhood was in and found stairs it cut through right back down to the street where the apartment resides. I would highly recommend it to any group Up to four people.

I was unable to get the key back into the lock box at the end of my stay, so I left it in the apartment.
