DIRTY place. Book at your own risk.

The guesthouse was near many restaurants and cafes.

I’m TRAUMATIZED by this place. When we entered our room, we noticed it was DIRTY. Hairs everywhere, lizard poop in the sink (photo attached), smelly towels and dust. We politely asked for a small cleanup and change of towels and the owner responded us “no podemos cumplir todos sus detalles”. He told us we was going to clean it up but never did it. Later during the week, I found a cockroach in the shower when I was showering. We were honestly afraid to ask for anything because anytime we would talk to the owner he would nag us. We used the same dirty and smelly towels the entire stay and didn’t feel at ease sleeping in the dirty sheets. It was such a relief to finally leave this place after only 4 nights that felt like an eternity.

Great guest house

The is a great guesthouse. It is very clean, the room is spacious, bed is comfortable, sheets and towels are clean. Air conditioning works well and in May we definitely needed it. The shower has hot water, but is very sensitive to temperature adjustments so don't turn the taps too far too soon. The location is great, close to the plaza but in a nice, safe, quiet area. Although there was a loud convert one night but it sounded far away and could probably be heard everywhere. The host is very nice and helpful.It was nice to have a coffee maker, fridge and microwave.

A lovely place to come 'home' to.

Ricardo and everyone else I encountered at Casa de las Palmas was friendly and helpful and made me feel very welcome. The room was comfortable and quiet and the shower was great! :) Muchas Gracias!

Nice stay, good location, friendly hosts

The location was convenient to the zocalo, about a 20 minute walk. The on site managers were very friendly and I was allowed to check in early, which was greatly appreciated. The kitchen was stocked with coffee and other basics, and it was a huge convenience. I had a nice garden view from my room.

There are dogs in the area that bark a lot which at times was annoying.

It's a great place to stay with easy access to plenty of shops, restaurants, and markets!

Within a reasonable walking distance to plenty of markets and attractions. The family that runs the place is very friendly and accommodating. We are traveling with our bikes and they were gracious enough to let us store our extra gear during our stay. The beds were firm and cozy and had everything we needed.

At times, there are a lot of barking dogs but it doesn't typically last too long. We are animal lovers so do love seeing pets all over the city.

safe and convenience

perfect location with walkable distance to pretty much everywhere in the centre. Ricardo is very helpful whenever I got any concern during my stay. he even taking care of my arrival on a Christmas Day while my bus got a couple of hours delayed. thank you very much!

Si se pudiera cambiar la llave de la regadera porque es difícil regular la combinación de agua caliente con agua fría. A veces sale demasiado caliente o muy fría.

Buena ubicación, caminas poquito para llegar al centro, el personal amable, limpio, yo fui ene enero y hace poco calor, pero en verano siento que le haría falta aire acondicionado, solo tiene ventilador, el parking bien, no me estorbaba ningún carro tiene un refri y cocina eso esta genial por que es medio terraza

Lo que menos me gusto fue que en mi habitación el baño estaba afuera, vi otras que si lo tienen dentro del cuarto, pero bueno, nada grave.

Sehr nette Gastgeber, Man fühlt sich sehr sicher, Nicht weit von Zentrum entfernt, Viel Stauraum

Für längere Aufenthalte wären neue Handtücher ab und an super (hätten wir sicher aber auch auf Nachfrage erhalten), die Dusche ist ziemlich schwer auf eine Temperatur zu bringen - wir waren aber mit Preis/Leistung sehr zufrieden
