About this apartment rental

Well-appointed, sunny one bedroom apartment in the premiere walking district of Oaxaca - El Zocalo, Santo Domingo, restaurants, markets, shopping, museums , cafes and a hub for trips to Monte Alban, Mitla, the weekly markets, etc.

RENTAL FEATURES
- Fully equipped kitchenette with refrigerator, stove top, coffee maker, blender, pots, pans, dishes and utensils
- Living room with couch and chair
- Dining Room with table and chairs for three
- Sunny bedroom with queen bed, closet and floor fan
- Bathroom with shower, toilet and sink
The unit is on the ground level, with southern-exposure and garden window, a semi-private seating area just outside the front door.

Includes once-a-week maid service and all linens.

Nice and cozy and close to points of interest

I stayed four weeks at the property - three while doing some intensive Spanish classes and one just to play tourist. The location is fantastic - basically a few blocks from lots of activities, making it super-convenient but quieter than anything closer. Kitchen is basic but all you need to prep some meals at "home", while there are plenty of restaurants of all types and price ranges nearby. Our host was very responsive and helpful for the few questions we had during the stay. I'd definitely recommend it for a stay in the city!

I think it was such an amazing little place to find during my stay in Oaxaca, especially since I was in town for a wedding. While the place is located off a busy street, this place is tucked behind a shop where you have a private little place to reset from the busy city. The property manager(s) were all lovely and great with communication. I had some troubleshooting with my arrival and departure, and they were very accommodating to my needs. I would stay again!

My partner and I had a very positive experience staying at Casita Camila for 6 nights. The location is excellent, I don't think you can get any more central. It's a sweet 2 block walk to Plaza Santo Domingo. The location is excellent. We were able to walk to all of the mercados in town, to the Zocalo, and were near many cultural institutions. (Our trip ended a bit prematurely due to the pandemic, but we still loved our stay.) The suite was very comfortable with hot water for showers and a big 10 gallon supply of drinking water waiting for us. The bed was very comfortable and the apartment was very clean. The area felt really safe and it was very easy to get in and out of the building. Selene was a most excellent host and she gave us lots of tips on what to see and do and how to get to the Tlocolula mercado on Sundays. She was also very quick to respond to any questions we had via text. We will definitely be returning to Oaxaca and we will definitely be returning to Casita Camila.

This was a lovely place to live for our 2+ week stay in Oaxaca. The apartment is well kept and had every thing we needed. The location is in the thick of things, but the street out front is not a bus route so is pedestrian friendly and fairly quiet. Having a kitchen allowed us to buy some of the wonderful stuff for sale in the nearby markets and make our own meals. The bed was comfortable and the sheets and towels were of good quality. When we return to Oaxaca we would definitely choose to stay here again.

Couldn’t ask for a better location in the heart of the colonial downtown of Oaxaca. The apartment was perfect. However while WiFi was included, parking was not. The parking amenity was in reference to public parking garages. Needs to be corrected because a parking space on the property is not included. And finding an affordable, 24 hour accessible, garage that has long term parking was not easy over the Spring Break festivities.

This was our 2nd stay in these apartments, and as before, the apartment was very clean and comfortable. Its conveniently located for most attractions in oaxaca city, and I would recommend staying here, and hopefully we will return soon.

We spent 4 nights here during a recent visit to Oaxaca. The apartment was clean and tidy. It was very easy to get to from the airport via taxi and walking distance from many attractions within the city. Adriana and her sister were wonderful hosts! I would recommend staying here to anyone visiting Oaxaca City.
