Good location and walkable to most things and great restaurants. Make sure you try Savaje just 2 blocks away for Michelin-level food at a fraction of the price!. A couple of days were warm and without AC it was a bit uncomfortable during the day but cooled down at night. Also enjoyed the run up the stairs and across to the hills!

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment had everything that we needed for a great stay. The apartment is an easy walk to everything we wanted to see. it was quiet at night which was great. We enjoyed having coffee and breakfast outside on the patio.

It was a comfertable stay with Olga at the apartment. Pleasant. It's on the edge of the centro area so to walk around you should know theres a bit of an uphill to her house. They were always quick to reply and help out with any questions we had. Thanks so much.

What a wonderful location to stay after sightseeing!!! The apartment is clean and the manager was very responsive to any issues we had (which were how to get into the townhouse and the need for another towel). The apartment was very comfortable and quiet!!! I highly would recommend this apartment. The shower worked well too!! There is no air conditioning, however in the bedrooms there are fans which kept it comfortable at night. We were able to walk to many places, and there are many buses and taxis right across the street to take you wherever you want to go. The apartment looks exactly as the pictures. Nothing fancy but practical!!!

Olga's house in Oaxaca is well-located and very quiet, making it especially suitable for families. The location is a highlight of the property. While our overall experience was positive and we would consider staying again, there were some issues with cleanliness. We found long hairs from previous guests, indicating that the cleaning wasn't thorough. Despite this, the house is nice and we enjoyed our stay

Clean, spacious, and within walking distance of everything in El Centro. Never met Olga but she was super responsive and her staff were always helpful. On a private drive but near a large road if you are sensitive to noise, might be wise to bring earplugs. A lovely place!

The perfect rental for our five day trip in Oaxaca. Great location to easily get around anywhere in Centro. Secure and clean with lots of space and very comfortable. Olga, the owner, was amazing and I wouldn’t think twice about staying here again.

Olga and Javier could not have been more welcoming or helpful. The apartment was very clean, spacious, and comfortable, exactly as advertised, only with a 20 liter bottle of water on the counter, which i truly appreciated. They also left me with plenty of information about the neighborhood and the many beautiful cafes. My only concern is that it is up a hill from the centro, which combined with the 5,000 ft altitude could make it difficult for less active people to get back from sightseeing or eating at the wonderful restaurants just a few blocks away. It should be mentioned in the listing so people are fully informed.

The place was comfortable and well equipped and staying there was very pleasant. It is located within a walking distance from the old center and just next to the Escalers del Fortin in case you feel like climbing up hill.

The complex of 4 apartments is very cosy and safe. The space outdoors is very nice to sit down for breakfast or relax in the evening. The apartment is very close to the centre: the San Domingo church with the Museum of Oaxaca cultures, central square, and many good restaurants and boutiques. The apartment is cute and very simple - authentic Mexican style. There is no air-conditioning, so if you are travelling in the summer, you need to be very strategic about keeping it cool. The nearby street is quite busy and noisy. But given the closeness to the center, it is a very good place to stay for the price! Thank you, Olga, for your hospitality!

I enjoyed my stay in Olga's apartment. Very clean and had a pretty little courtyard which is shared with three other apartments. Excellent internet. Excellent location within walking distance of the Zócalo, Santo Domingo, and the pedestrian malls. A market, Sanchez Pascuas, is several blocks away and there are many nice little restaurants and coffee shops nearby. The steps to the Guelaguetza are a block away. Olga responded quickly to my questions. I hope to return to Oaxaca soon and stay in this apartment once again.

The apartment is spacious and the kitchen is good for cooking and the bedrooms are comfortable. The airflow and fans in each bedroom are equally nice on hot days. There is also a nice spot to work or read from right outside the front door. The owner, Olga, is always quick to respond and fix any issues and her housecleaner, Bertha, is a lovely woman and very kind. I highly recommend staying here!

Downtown Oaxaca can be pretty noisy with truck and other traffic, but this spot is off the road on its own private road, and with its own courtyard, is really quiet and relaxing.

It was our first time to Oaxaca, and we certainly chose our place to stay well! We loved getting up each morning and taking the short stroll into the heart of the city--only about 15 minutes, tops, to get to any location--and have our desayunos! When we needed advice about locations for covid tests required for travel, or connections to airport taxis, or anything else, Olga was incredibly quick, gracious, and thorough in assisting us through the vrbo messaging system. A perfect distance from the hustle and bustle, attentive assistance from our host, and a safe, comfortable abode at an affordable price! We couldn't be happier!

Olaga's apartment #2 was our home in Oaxaca for a month and we did indeed, feel very much at home. The two bedroom apartment was just as advertised, roomy, clean, airy--everything you need for a nice extended stay. Olga's property is a real gem with its large private outdoor space on two levels giving visitors plenty of sun and views to the mountains in the north as well as into the center of town towards Santo Domingo. Olga lives on the property, is a naturally friendly person, and is readily available and responsive to her guest's needs. The location was perfect for us...a block away from the Sánchez Pasquas mercado and just a few minutes from Santo Domingo. We loved the neighborhood and would very much like to return for another good, long stay.

Olga was great to work with! She provided excellent communication before our trip, met us upon arrival, helped us out during our stay, and even let us both check-in and check-out early. The home is basic but adequate, no frills. Drinking water, appliances, towels, bed linens, soap, and shampoo provided. Good hot water and water pressure. Excellent location for proximity to Oaxaca center, about a 10-15 minute walk most places, yet safe. And a great property for traveling with pets. I think it was the only home with grass in all of Oaxaca--right outside our door and perfect for our dog! The only downside were a ton of dogs barking at night and a good number of ants in the home. Still, we would probably stay here again for the reasonable price, the space for our kids to sleep in a separate bedroom, and the accommodations for our dog.

Olga was very gracious and helpful during the two weeks we stayed in Mexico. The rooms were clean and we appreciated having a nice kitchen in which to prepare some meals and especially being able to make coffee and tea in the mornings. When we chose this apartment, we didn't realize it had no air conditioning, and we really missed this on the warmer nights. There were screens on the windows, so we kept them open most of the time and there were ceiling fans in both bedrooms. Some kind of fan in the living room/kitchen area would have been helpful as well. There was a nice market nearby, a laundry, and a nice, but small, cafe we went to for breakfast and sandwiches a couple of times. Although the Zocolo and center of Oaxaca is about a 20 minute walk away, this area has steep hills and is a challenge for anyone who is not in good physical health. Fortunately, it's easy to get a taxi and the fare is extremely affordable, so you can save your energy for visiting the many museums, restaurants, and shopping venues. Very few people speak English, so knowing some Spanish is a good thing, and of course, everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our visit to this beautiful city and would not hesitate to return.

We liked the location. It is uphill from centro, so if you are walking be prepared for that. It's good exercise! We liked our choice to stay here. It was quiet. We stayed in the 2 bedroom. It had a kitchen, which we only used for coffee and the refrigerator. But it has all the features of a regular kitchen. It's just nice to be able to have a nice seating area inside and outside rather than staying in a hotel room. Thank you Olga.
