Had an excellent, comfortable and enjoyable stay!

We had such a wonderful time staying at Siento. The apartment was excellent, super clean, and very comfortable (bed & pillows were incredible!). We highly appreciated the drinking water, teas and the well equipment kitchen. The location is amazing, few minutes walk from the center and still very quiet. The hosts were so helpful and so friendly, they helped us with finding a nearby safe parking for our very big van, they have a very good understanding about hospitality and comfort. If we would ever be back in Oaxaca would absolutely be back! Highly recommend it!

Great location, thoughtful touches — comfortable stay

The hosts were very kind and welcoming. The location was excellent—close, walking distance to the city centre—and overall we really enjoyed our stay (we stayed 6 nights). The bed was good for us. The apartment also had lots of cute, thoughtful touches, and it was well equipped (water station and fridge). Overall, it was a comfortable stay and we would recommend it.

The only downside for us was the bathroom. The toilet seat was made of PU leather, which felt a bit unusual and not very hygienic. One small note: the gas stovetop didn’t seem to work for us, or we may not have figured out how to use it properly.

Beautiful , comfortable , compact space

Beautiful, well designed space within the center of Oaxaca, walking distance to all the main attractions but on a quiet street. The main bed upstairs was quite comfortable, the AC worked well, and the shower was decently warm. WiFi was fast and the space was equipped with a desk for working and a kitchenette. The hammock is a lovely addition and there were several thoughtful touches that made it a more comfortable stay

I found the downstairs futon/sofa bed uncomfortable (uneven and hard) but my friend slept fine on it

The apartment is gorgeous! Very clean and colourful with lovely decorative details! Location was excellent! we could walk to everything we wanted to see. The kitchen was full of absolutely everything we needed!

Excellent place. I came back.

Fantastic place. Possibly the overall best-appointed stay I've had. I liked it so much, I tried to extend, but it was booked. So I moved elsewhere for two nights and came back when I could. Decent Wifi (56D/6U) good enough for streaming anything and no ISP filters. Exceptionally clean. Shower had great hot water, and decent pressure. Quiet neighborhood.

Great location, close to the city center but not in the loud areas. Cozy and cute space with everything you would need or didn’t think you would need but liked to have (filtered water dispenser was the best!!!). Kitchen well equipped and living spaces comfortable. Host was responsive and helpful!

Lovely and clean, good location.

Cute, clean and with a lot of attention to detail. I especially liked the comfortable bed, combination of ceiling fan and AC, drink water fountain and good smelling soap and shower gel. I didn’t use the kitchen but it looked well equipped to me. We didn’t meet the host but the cleaning staff we saw on the first day was very friendly. Location is walkable to everything in Centro, some nice restaurants and food places in the near neighborhood.

Cleaning during stay has to be paid extra. There is no place to sit outdoors, no terrace or chairs in the entrance.

Comfortable and Clean

Probably the most well appointed place we’ve ever stayed! Little touches like labeling everything, even the faucets:), quality soaps, bathrobes, and slippers. They even had dog bowls waiting for us :) Well equipped kitchen. Very clean and organized, comfy bed, amazingly hot shower, and even an ac unit. Great location just a few minutes from downtown, on a quiet street. A bit of noise from the neighbors and all the dogs in the neighborhood, but overall a wonderful stay.

Lovely apartment in a quiet part of town

Lovely little modern apartment in a great quiet nook. It was a short 5 minute stroll to the main part of town. Apartment came with coffee, water filter, air con and was very clean. Would stay here again, recommended!!

The stairs to the top level are not super friendly. Someone with mobility issues might struggle here.

Cute loft style apartment, short walk from centre.

This place is really thoughtfully presented, has everything you need. They provided basic things for the kitchen like tea coffee and salt and pepper and salad dressing and cooking oil which is super handy when only staying a few days. The hosts also were flexible with our check out. Which we didn’t need in the end but was really nice. Best bed and pillows we slept on since arriving in Mexico.

The place was pretty hot especially upstairs cause there is no aircon, meant we needed to sleep with door open, which let in some neighbourhood noise and mosquitoes. The metal stairs maybe an issue for anyone who’s not very mobile and the location is good just a bit of a walk up a hill from the centre so can if you dip in and out a lot during the day can be a bit tiresome. Also the property next door is separated by and wall that does have some gaps so may not be as private as some may like. We never saw the neighbour’s so was a non-issue for us.

Location was good ,cloth enough to town center ,but not in the center. Quiet place. Very clean and well organized for staying

Only one thing . during the day the weather was very hot and it took many hours to get cool at night. Celling fan didn’t help. In room description in booking it said that there is air conditioning in the room, but there is no A/C . I sent a message to the owner and he answer me that he is sorry for my inconvenient but only in apartment no’ 1 there is A/C and this room is already occupied and he can only bring me anther fan.

Awesome apartment

The apartment was perfect for a visit to Oaxaca city. It's modern, clean, comfortable, has excellent facilities, and is in a great location. The hosts are excellent communicators and have thought of everything to make a stay as comfortable as possible - from providing filtered water on tap to a variety of teas and coffee.

Un Loft bien hecho en Oaxaca

Lo bien pensado que están las amenidades. Agua, café, té disponibles. Tiene cochera. El barrio dónde está ubicado es tranquilo y muy seguro de noche. Tiene aire acondicionado y un ventilador perfecto para mitigar el calor del verano. La cocina está muy bien equipada. En el alojamiento encontrarás tapones para oídos, algodón desmaquillante, secadora de cabello, un escritorio perfecto para inspirarte a escribir, plancha para ropa, paragüas, sombrero y una bolsa linda para tus compras.

Quedarme tan poco. No lo recomiendo para personas con niños pequeños o mobilidad reducida, las escaleras son nivel extremo. La tapa del baño ya está rota, te puede llegar a pellizcar.

Très bel appartement, bien situé, parfait pour quelques jours à Oaxaca en été.

La localisation, très proche du centre. La décoration, et tout le nécessaire mis à disposition (fontaine à eau, boules quies, parapluie, etc…). L’appartement est très propre et calme.

Excellent endroit pour les séjours des plusieurs jours à Oaxaca

L'emplacement c'etait très pratique et la maison jolie et lumineuse. Les hôtes ont été réactifs et la communication a été très fluide.

Fenêtres mal isolées mais c'est le cas avec presque tous les constructions en Amérique Latine. Je conseille à l'hôte de fournir des bouchons d'oreille et de procéder à une fumigation.

La experiencia no fue del todo satisfactoria

En general, el lugar cuenta con lo básico para una estancia cómoda y tiene los elementos suficientes para estar bien unos días. Sin embargo, hubo varios aspectos que afectaron negativamente nuestra experiencia. La presión del agua fue muy baja durante toda la estadía y, para el tercer día, prácticamente no subía agua, lo cual fue bastante incómodo. Esto también afectó el funcionamiento del baño, ya que no vaciaba bien y se debía esperar bastante tiempo para que el tanque se llenara nuevamente. Tampoco fue posible descansar bien por el ruido constante de perros y gatos en las casas vecinas. Además, hay presencia de mosquitos o zancudos, algo que no se nos advirtió previamente, por lo que recomendamos llevar repelente. Un punto importante que nos generó molestia fue el tema del cobro adicional por mascotas. No se indica con claridad que solo se permiten dos mascotas como máximo, ni se informa de manera visible que se cobra $400 por cada una. En nuestro caso, esto representó un cargo extra de $800 que se nos informó únicamente al llegar, y que se tuvo que pagar en efectivo, sin emitir factura ni recibo, lo cual se sintió poco transparente e informal. Recomendación: Publica que cobras por cada mascota antes de hacerse la reserva… no después o el día de la llegada al lugar. Y de ser así, que esté incluido en la factura de pago. Por estos motivos, lamentablemente no consideramos volver a hospedarnos en este lugar.

Tiene todas las amenidades necesarias, el lugar es muy bonito y acogedor, la decoración es especial y está muy cerca del centro pero sin el caos por lo que es tranquilo, es seguro, el té y café deliciosos.

Sería bueno que contara con una lavadora o lugar para tender ropa y toallas, además de tener algún directorio para poder pedir comida.

Bonito y conveniente

Es un apartamento encantador, con todo lo necesario para pasar unos días. Nosotras no usamos la cocina pero es una excelente opción para quienes quieren un lugar donde poder comer y cocinar ya que tienen muchos útiles en la cocina, además de aceite, vinagre, sal... se vio realmente completa la cocina. Si usamos el servicio de café con todos los utensilios para hacer un excelente café, incluido café de calidad, hervidor, molinillo, café en grano, café molido, puedes usar cafetera de filtros, aeropress y v60. Además de una gran selección de tes e infusiones. Muchos detalles que mejoran la estancia como tapones para oídos , accesorios de baño, crema del cuerpo y jabones, sombrero, sombrilla... Agua de garrafa a discreción con grifo super útil Cama cómoda. El sofá cama algo incómodo pero lo habitual en estos muebles. Está en la zona muy tranquila, lejos del bullicio, a unos 15-20m caminando de casi todo. Tiene opción de guardar tu coche dentro de la propiedad. Tienen acuerdo de desayuno en un hotel muy bonito con un buen descuento en n el precio. (Grana bb). Personal amable aunque sin contacto, siempre nos ayudaron con todo vía chat y responden muy rápido. 💕

Todo estuvo bien para nosotras. Sin embargo si eres persona de movilidad reducida no lo recomiendo por las escaleras del apartamento y para llegar al alojamiento hay unos 20m caminando desde el centro y un poquito de cuesta arriba. Nada dramático pero si a considerar por algunas personas. Poca presión en el agua pero creo que toda la ciudad es así. Como comento nada de esto fue un inconveniente para nosotras que disfrutamos mucho de la estancia y el apartamento. La ciudad es hermosa y el barrio tranquilo se disfruta mucho.
