It was OK, but not someplace I will return to

The location was perfect for me. Lots of nice restaurants and shopping around. There’s a very pretty park nearby. All the appliances were there to make my own food, including a blender , microwave and coffee maker, and some spices and cooking supplies were there. The Neighbourhood felt safe and it was easy to get around by myself. The apartment was cleaned once a week.

The bed was extremely uncomfortable as was the couch. There was no one there when I first arrived, and I didn’t know how to get in. I was able to get in after I texted the property. The water was turned off in the in the toilet and I had to figure out how to turn it on. There was no instructions on how to use the Internet. I was able to get Internet password after texting the property again. after a few days, the toilet began to leak and I asked that it be fixed. It was fixed, but not well. It started to leak again toward the end of my stay.

Whole apartment in cute part of city

We loved or stay at Casa Maye. The staff was very attentive and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed! Our favorite part was the location.. There is a park on the next block where we could find plenty of street food. There was also dance lessons there in the evening we very much enjoyed. Beautiful walk to all the markets and tons of restaurants everywhere.

A good apartment in downtown Oazaca that has decent facilites.

It had plenty of room, and was quiet.

No staff on site. Water in kitchen would not turn off, though staff came and turned it off,and bathroom counter was always wet by fauces so it had leak. Hot water in shower was only warm socquick shower. No view of anything.

It was okay if your standards are not high.

It was in a safe neighborhood. The room I had was quiet. It was near restaurants and shopping. Apartment was cleaned once a week. The apartment had a coffee maker microwave blender refrigerator. it was well supplied.

The bed was very uncomfortable, as was the couch. The toilet and bathroom faucets leaked. There was no one here when I first arrived and I was given no information ahead of time of how to get in. When I texted, I did get information. No Wi-Fi information was given. I had to reach out for that. There is no one at the property to ask— all was handled by text. When I first arrived, the toilet had been turned off. That’s because it leaked. I figured out myself how to turn it on.

Just saying

The location the yard, the apartment and the staff was great

The bed, even though the mattress was good, made a lot of noise with the slightest movement, even when you were moving your hand. So, after the second night, we just left it on the side and slept on the mattresson the floor. The neighborhood was a bit noisy, and you could hear everything even with the windows closed. And the couch was very uncomfortable; you couldn't rest a bit except on the bed.

Nice vibe

It was good-price-quality. Very flexible with both changing our appartment to the patio and the late check out after the fiesta de virgin de Guadelope. Nice.

An excellent option for a stay in Oaxaca City

The check-in was easy and the host was attentive and available. The location is great with walking distance to just about anywhere. The apartment was clean and tidy. An extra plus for hair dryer and clothing iron, coffee maker and very good water pressure in the shower. Would absolutely stay here again!

Good location. Reasonable stay

The location is exceptional. A just 5 minutes from the 1st class bus station. Easy walk into town from flat. Lots of coffee places and restaurants nearby. Facilities are okay, everything worked. However kitchen poorly equipped to do cooking. Disappointed owner didn’t respond to message asking for a few extra things. Just having a cleaning cloth and dust pan and brush would be helpful to keep things clean. Finally, the area is quiet, however the apartment part of small apartment complex. We had one night lots of loud talking and noise from antisocial neighbours who arrived 1am.

Great location and apartment

Great location, just on the outer edge of the main tourist area of Oaxaca. The apartments are in their own shared private courtyard off the street, so street noise was very minimal, it was very secure and safe. The apartments were a good size with full kitchen area and lounge.

The water pressure was very very low. The water tanks were filled during our stay, but within another 2 days, the pressure was very low again.

Good apartment with nice owner

Spacious apartment in a good location close to Oaxaca attractions and bus station. Owner is very helpful and assisted us with booking taxis for two days and also providing extra supplies when requested.

Bed is hard and showerhead needs to be replaced as it sprays water in every direction and it can be hard to adjust it (apartment #5).

Awesome the location is close to everything and very clean and the staff are fast and efficient!

The staff go above and beyond and help you with anything that you need all you have to do is ask.

We’re older so a more comfortable mattress would be nice and a more comfortable couch to relax on.

Apartment cozy and safe neighborhood

The apartment was cozy. The owner really nice and very caring. The kitchen was well equipped, but it would be nice to have a pot with a lid. The owner can also bring you to the airport, if you need it. Safe neighborhood.

During our trip in different cities, like Tlaxcala and Puebla, we found that all the faucets and showers didn't work really well. I don't want to evaluate the room for that, but for sure it was annoying, mostly in the kitchen. Same thing for bedsheets and towel. I would have loved them to be cleaner but, after staying in four different places with the same problem, we have to accept that they don't have our hygiene standard. So the room was clean, but...

Lovely stay in Oaxaca

Really comfortable and homely apartment in a great location. It has so much around it, but still maintains a peaceful atmosphere. There’s a lovely park, plenty of places to eat and quaint coffee shops a short walk away. The owner is really helpful and responsive, which is always wonderful when staying somewhere. We had a perfect stay here, I would definitely stay here again.

Disappointing

I liked the size of the room and the neighbours was safe and quiet. Self checkin was convenient.

The toilets were not working properly, we had to fix them multiple times and I would say it worked one out of 3 times, so very random. A pity we did not have a balcony or terrace ( other rooms did), but maybe there are different room types. One day there was no water as the pipe broke. The owner got it fixed a couple of hours later, but after we had to leave for our booked trip. I guess it may happen... Also the pomp getting wated to the 1rs floor was making a constant noise, evert 10/15 seconds day and night which was very annoying by night and early motning as it was waking us up. A pity we had all those issues as It has good potential and looks good on pictures.

Host was very accomodating and the place was very comfortable to relax when i needed to after a long day in oaxaca.

Only complaint would be the shower. The pressure was not the best. If this was improved, it would be 10/10.

Great value, Great Service, Great Location—Recommended!

This is one of the better apartment rental experiences I have ever had. The location was perfect for exploring Oaxaca and beyond. Just one block from the lovely El Llano, with great food stands and a peaceful place to take in local life. Only a couple blocks from the vibrant cafes and street art of Jalatlaco. About a 15 min walk to the Zocolo and 10 mins to Santo Domingo. Easy access to markets and pharmacies. Right next to the first class bus station. But out of the tourist fray. The apartment was very clean and the service and the housekeeping was excellent. They provided, soap, shampoo, toothpaste, and purified water and refilled each week when they did weekly housekeeping. They helped us receive packages and even delivered a brand new mattress within hours when I let them know the existing one needed to be replaced! Wow! The hot water is plentiful once you get the hang of it (for us that was to turn the lever to about 6:30 on a clock face Ave pull it half way out). We sometimes had issues with wifi, but it was only momentarily and we did video calls with no issue. Overall, we were comfortable, safe, and had everything we needed over the course of three weeks. We’d happily stay here again any time!

Great Location and Apartment

I was a little anxious to book an apartment and having to try met a host for a key but a simple message to the host and a lock box code was provide so I was delighted and knew there would be no issue getting into the apartment after a late flight into the City. Netflix was a nice touch after exploring the city all day.

Water pressure wasnt great in the shower but its ok for a few days. Not a big deal to me.
