48 Pony Meadow - White Cross Bay

I loved the location, the pool on site is great as well. Property was clean and comfortable, liked the decking area & hottub was huge / a treat at the end of the day.

The property doesn’t supply towels which I think is poor, also the lack of cleaning products. 1 dishwasher tab, 1 dish towel & 1 cloth. No anti-bac spray.. we bought our own dishwasher tabs which we took home with us.. I just think these wee things go a long way. If there’s cleaning products there, people will use them. Also some milk in fridge would be a nice touch for guests to at least have a tea/ coffee upon arrival. The shop on site had no fresh milk. The multiple air fresheners / reed diffusers I think are unnecessary / overpowering and to everyone’s taste. These are all minor tweaks but I think they would go a long way. We did really enjoy our stay here

Nice features. Well located.

Owner was not easy to communicate with.

Lodge was beautiful, well kept and the hot tub made all the difference for keeping my daughter entertained. We loved watching ducks, squirrels and rabbits walking right passed us. So peaceful. 2 minute walk away from a beautiful lake which has perfect views, the sunset was well worth it.

We did have a problem getting into the lodge, our arrival time was 3pm and we still had no code to open the key box. We waited maybe 15 minutes to get that which wasnt so bad. But the owners did travel to clean the lodge and apologised, there was a problem on the booking system and my booking didnt show up.

There was a smell of wet dog on the couches, also there was a damp smell.
