A beautiful, older property set in a lovely part of the country. Plenty of space for us and the dogs to be together or chill out separately. Food and drink left by the hosts was greatly appreciated after a long, hot drive. Great walks accessible from the door which the dogs loved. Having small things like dishwasher tablets, coffee pods, tea bags available is so helpful.
The bins being too near the outdoor table when eating.
A couple of minor issues (incase owners not aware) The blind in the front bedroom was not working (would have lifted it further for more light) and couldn’t open the window to catch the breeze despite the exceptionally hot weather.
The bathroom near the twin room - door handle comes off in your hand on the inside and unable to lock the door.

Full of character and space. Modernised sympathetically and maintained many original features. Well equipped and comfortable.
Only down side was some road noise.

Very good property for family stay. Host was very thoughtful and paid attention to details to make our stay comfortable including plenty of supplies. This property is very well situated to go around peak district.
