Great family get together in a beautiful home

Great sized kitchen and large dining table. Lots of cutlery and crockery. Bedrooms all good- 3 double and two twin. Although not an issue for us, great that there is a downstairs bedroom and shower room. Lovely wood burning in lounge- great for the evenings

Smart and well-located cottage

Roomy, clean and well-presented. Great kitchen, living room and great position - with views and walks. Terrific location, peaceful, easy to get to things. Super comfy beds, and great to have parking for 4 cars. Had a smart feel. Good sized rooms.

We were confused by both the showers! Including a third one (just a standard one) in the en suite would be a great idea.

I think it would be good to have a second TV in the kitchen /dining area It was a bit awkward trying to agree on what to watch with 10different people of 3 generations sitting in the same room also some wanting to play games on the TV🥹

Great location and property for our wider family to meet up and celebrate

Comfortable, clean and well equipped. Great location with access to some nice walks. Lots of socializing space in the property for 2 families . All rooms were a good size.

Small niggle about bins - would have liked some means to gather stuff for recycling in the property but really it’s a tiny point. Great property!!

Cosy, rural cottage close to nice pubs, walks and ammenties. Everyone had a wonderful time, thank you!

One of the few properties we could find to accommodate our large family. The kitchen is fab and plenty big enough and fully equipped. Only thing we missed was an air fryer! All rooms are cosy and well decorated, plenty of bathrooms for 10 of us. Walking distance to a lovely pub and some nice walks. We would love to come back in the winter and use the log burner! Garden was a sun trap and the kids enjoyed playing garden games on the grass. Everything you would need was provided.

The only suggestion I could make is that the bed in the downstairs bedroom was a tad uncomfortable as I kept rolling into the middle of the bed. Not sure if this is because the bed frame was a bit damaged or the mattress. However, everyone else had a comfortable nights sleep.

The cottage was beautifully laid out and spacious with every facility you could have needed. Extremely comfortable beds and gorgeous bathrooms.

Lovely house with the best holiday kitchen we've ever had. Lots of small touches and extras made it very comfortable. Beautiful garden for the children to play in, and wonderful views. Pubs, playground and garden centre in easy walking distance.

The cold tap in the downstairs toilet not working (bit of a pain when you are using the downstairs bedroom). Fridge setting v high - resulted in unusable frozen salad items. We couldn't find a key to open the outside door off the kitchen.

Perfect for our 3 night catch up with friends.

The property and it's location were perfect for us (5 "girls" meeting up). Plenty of parking spaces right outside; 5 comfy bedrooms and lots of inside and outside seating; a bedroom each; beautiful walks to do nearby. The kitchen was equipped with everything we could possibly need and there were even bags of ice in the freezer. The two local pubs were in easy walking distance (short cut across field at the back to The Gate Inn). The property owner kindly came over to help us find the new wifi code, which is now written inside the visitors book.

It was all super, but it's worth knowing that the boiler for the large downstairs shower is in a cupboard in the upstairs twin bedroom at the back of the house. The boiler is noisy so if someone is sleeping in that room it's kinder not to shower downstairs too early!

it would have scored a 10 out of 10 if the hot tub situation had been made clear, very disappointed grand children

cleanliness, warm and welcoming when we arrived with lights on the Christmas tree sparkling away, loads of space and a super well equipped kitchen

£220 for the cost of the hot tub, whilst the small print indicates an extra charge which you expect to cover cleaning costs etc, it did not explain that the property no longer has one of its own and one has to be hired in.

Fantastic place to stay

The location was perfect, lovely walks on your doorstep. Very well equipped, clean and comfortable house for a family/friends get together. A Christmas tree was up in the lounge which was a lovely touch. Two pubs close by, the Tavern, a 5 minute walk and The Gate Inn, which served excellent food, 15 minute walk away.

The guests in the twin room were woken during the night whenever the bathroom was used due to the water system refilling.

Lovely cottage. Good value. Good space and bedrooms within the house.

We have stayed at this property before. They now have a second shower downstairs which is great. The cottage has a good kitchen/ dining space and nice lounge. Several bedrooms with twin beds which is great for travelling with friends.

The property could do with a bigger fridge. There is only an under-counter fridge in the kitchen and under-counter freezer in the utility. The fridge isn't very big if you were cooking all your meals in the cottage.
