Absolutely smashing. Beautiful little country cottage. It had everything we needed including some streaming services on the telly for our younger daughter. Best part of the morning was the walk down to town along the river Lyme. I highly recommend jumping aboard the double-decker bus to Charmouth and doing the walk back to Lyme regis. Just make sure you plan it so that you’re in the low tide window. I don’t recommend renting a car for here, you won’t need it, and the roadways are twisty and narrow, so it might be more challenge than you wish to take on. Just take a taxi, Eco taxi I recommend , from Axminster Station and walk the rest of the time. Rock point was a decent pub. Swim on the beach Boardwalk was wonderful as well. We ate there a couple of times. And if you’re jonesing for some pizza, Poco is the spot for you. It’s a bit pricey, but it really is good pizza. But back to the property. Our hosts, David and Angela were absolutely delightful. Truly born and bred Lyme Regians? Is that the right term I wonder? The two bedrooms are quite cosy. The kitchen has all you’ll need. And if it were warmer weather, I would’ve loved to have enjoyed the outside space and maybe even a barbecue. Perhaps next time. As someone who travels extensively and uses Booking.com considerably, as noted on my blog site www.mypackwizard.com, I highly recommend this accommodation for your Lyme regis visit.

Convenient to Lyme Regis. Clean, comfortable, many conveniences, owners very friendly and helpful. Awesome place to stay. Have been there twice and would go again. Highly recommended!!
