The location is perfect for shops, restaurants and public transport. The villa was spacious and the kitchen was well equipped. Limited international TV channels were available.

Villa has NO security system (despite placards claiming so in the windows). The furnishings are spartan, basic and in various degrees of dilapidation. There was no weekly bedding change or cleaning as customary in other villas. After the first week, we were told to use the spare bedding set left for us. After the second week, a very displeased cleaning lady issued us with a partial bedding set, still in its packaging (ie needing wash before use). She took away the dirty set and never brought it back. The villa manager was only intending to solve issues after we left, so 3 weeks without a safe (the battery ran out) and 2 weeks with nearly overflowing shower - the manager was only going to fix it after we have left. Could not get through to the manager that a villa with fewer amenities (ie no pool) should have a better service if they want to justify their rather high price.
