The hosts were very welcoming and friendly - The location was tranquil and was within walking distance to a sandy beach (not for swimming) - A comfortable nights sleep.

Loved meeting the hosts, they really made us welcome. It was a fabulous breakfast with an amazing view. Great location, too.

We rented a room in the older main house, shared by the host family, which I think has a different level of comfort (and price) than the newer independent houses. Very much a fishing lodge vibe. The room was simple, plain, and functional.
Whatever you do, don't ring the doorbell when you arrive! Host Heather does not appreciate it. Vegetarian options for a hot breakfast would be good, as would hot chocolate for younger guests. The value for the stay for us wasn't great, compared to similar accommodations this summer around the same price point.
