The apartment is centrally situated, compact, clean and newly decorated in pleasant minimalist style.
This accommodation is overpriced for what is on offer. The building in which it is situated leaves a great deal to be desired. The building is not in good condition and appears not to be maintained. Access is through a hallway that opens from the street through a door with a simple handle (no key) and a second door at the end of the hallway with a mechanical key-pad that opens to the stairs. The hallway can be accessed by anyone in the street. The electric light bulb in the hallway did not work and this was a problem at night as the code had to be entered in the key-pad in the pitch-dark hallway. Either the key-pad or the door is unsteady and even with light this is not easy. The stairs appeared not to have been cleaned for a number of weeks. The street outside is very noisy and both cars and trains can be heard throughout the night, despite the new windows. The street lights shine inside the apartment because of the way the curtains are hung on the rails. In the bathroom there are hooks on the door but no towel rail or toilet roll holder. There was only one wine glass. A more positive tone in the ‘Welcome book’ would be appreciated. The smart appearance does not compensate for the disadvantages and the insecurity of the hallway.
