Loved exploring around Place Allende (old market square), window shopping, Creperies, Boulangeries.

The historic location Kitchen very well equipped and wonderful walk-in shower. You need to be aware that someone using the very comfortable sofa-bed has to go through the double bed-room. So does that have to be a problem ? Not for us - two girls together and their father on sofa-bed.

We arrived by train, and we found '100 Steps' down to the town, but we needed a direction, so ~ 'Find or ask for the Marie. At the back many roads and lanes fan out, so take Rue de Paris. Walking on the left pavement pass Place de Viarmes, then Place des Jacobins is next. Face the CiC bank and work around the square to number 4. It's red, not brown.' This area is very complicated and Tourist Info (beyond the Viaduc,) is very helpful but does not have a good street map. So make your own as you explore, taking Rue de Fil to find your way towards the Viaduc.

Lovely old building centrally located. Very well equipped. Spotlessly clean. Met Yves in person- which was helpful.

Historisches Haus mit Stil und Komfort

Liebevoll renoviertes Fachwerkhaus aus dem 16. Jahrhundert mit stilvoller Einrichtung, modernem Bad und ebenerdiger geräumiger Dusche. Ruhige Lage am Platz. Der freundliche und ortskundige Empfang durch den Gastgeber hat uns gut gefallen. Die Restaurierung der Fenster mit historischem Glaseinsatz ist sehenswert und gelungen. Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt und fanden die Möglichkeit wunderbar ein paar Tage Urlaub in einem so schönen Fachwerkhaus zu verbringen.

La situation du logement

L'accès au logement par une cour et escalier extérieur pas pratique du tout.....en plus il a plu pendant notre séjour. Dommage que le long couloir n'était pas chauffé. Il fallait sans cesse fermer les portes pour garder la chaleur dans les 2 pièces.
