Amazing place in the heart of Slovak Paradise – perfect hospitality in every way! Staying at RANČ Podlesok for relaxation was an extraordinary experience. The biggest plus is the owner, Paul, and the location, which sits right on the edge of the hiking trails and views of the Slovak Paradise (Slovenský Raj) nature reserve, so there is no need to move the car in the morning. What stood out: • Bill and staff: Paul and Hotut provide exceptional service – warm, attentive and welcoming. They were happy to advise and adapt hiking trails, help with equipment, even drive to the starting point of the trail. • Facilities and treats: The wellness area includes an outdoor jacuzzi and sauna facing the mountain view. In addition, there is the possibility to rent electric bikes and paragliding equipment, and for families with children there is a large yard with playground equipment, a trampoline and a playground for all ages. • Food and restaurant: The restaurant on site is excellent, offering delicious dinners and a rich and varied breakfast (with excellent response to sensitivities such as celiac/gluten-free). • Rooms: Clean, cozy, well-maintained and provide excellent value for money. Highly recommended for couples, backpackers/trekkers and families! We would love to come back here again on any visit to the area.
