We werden verrast door de zeer ruime tuin en de fijne zitplekken buiten. Hierdoor voelde het niet echt als een hotel maar meer als een soort buitenverblijf. Je kunt ‘s avonds een drankje uit de koelkast pakken wat dan bij het uitchecken betaald wordt. De eigenaar is een vriendelijke en behulpzame man. Er zijn nu ook twee oplaadpunten voor elektrische auto’s. Je wandelt eenvoudig het prachtige bos in. Het ontbijt is goed verzorgd en compleet, niks op aan te merken. Er wordt tijdens het ontbijt gevraagd of je ‘s avonds daar eet, wij hebben daar geen gebruik van gemaakt omdat we ‘vrij’ wilden zijn. De kamer was schoon en gezellig. Waterkoker met (oplos)koffie en thee aanwezig. De badkamer (en douche) is aan de krappe kant maar dat stoorde ons niet. Lekker ruikende douchegel en handzeep aanwezig.
