Breakfast was outstanding, room was clean and the decor was nostalgic. Staff was very friendly and I was able to leave my luggage at reception prior to checking in. Vie was very nice.

Liked the reasonably large room. Good wi-fi. It was clean. Close to the train and bus stations. From there I took TEZ local trains to see more of the Tatra little towns. I definitely recommend going it all the way to Strbske Pleso. Some good supermarkets next door. Reception people were nice every time I had a question for them.
A small fridge and kettle would be nice.

The hotel is very well located, close to all the stations and not too far from the centre. The staff is very nice and accommodating. The interior is a bit retro but I liked it. It feels cozy and welcoming.
Some parts of the interior were worn out and old. For example the bathrooms have loose tiles and details like that, although everything is kept clean and functional. The breakfast was a big disappointment. I don't have high standards but this was uninspired and not at all up to standards of even a guesthouse. Stale bread, room temperature yoghurt, barely and and withered fruit.
