Kalix Boutique Hotel

Room was large, historic character, facilities new and clean Breakfast excellent - fresh, delicious, staff very friendly Towels replaced and trash emptied daily

Room never cleaned in 5 nights - dirty glasses left, sheets only folded, not changed, despite multiple complaints. Reception open only 14:00-21:00, inconvenient with early starts and late returns. Parking lot closed one day, had to park on the street. Access via steep staircase (was disclosed at booking, so not a surprise, but worth noting). No AC in 1st-floor historic rooms during a 41°C heatwave - only 2nd floor has it. Nights dropped to ~24°C so sleep was fine, but daytime was rough.

To begin with, this is the truly boutique hotel. Comfort and high quality service company your stay all the way long. The room is spacious and the bed is good. Entire building is nice and quiet. The view is open to the mountains. Every guest get its private and free parking space. Breakfast is tasty and nutritious. And to cap it all, the staff is truly professional, speaks very good English, polite and helpful.

Nice little hotel, very nice building and when we came into the room everything was sparkling clean and tidy. The room was much bigger than we expected and very quiet.

No one let us know that there is not air condition on the 1st floor. It was too hot. We asked to change a room Without any reference to our requests. It is next to private hoeses , so at 7:00AM we woke up from the noises
