Future Apartments ▍Luxury ▍In the Heart of Skopje ▍

Due to an early arrival, I had to check in independently rather than being greeted by the owner. The process was completely seamless, the written instructions and video guide were clear and easy to follow. The owner came by later to walk me through the property, explain all the amenities, and share some great local recommendations. The host was exceptionally polite, patient, and attentive. The property has a fantastic location, roughly midway between the museum/renovated historic area and the restaurant and bar district, each about a 10/15 minute walk away. The stay itself was very comfortable: great beds, fast internet, and a lovely view towards the mountains that honestly deserves to be highlighted in the listing photos. The host even helped us arrange a reliable airport taxi to make sure we wouldn't get overcharged (for reference, the fare is around €20, payable in either currency). If I return to Skopje, I'd book this property again without hesitation.

The listing describes it as a 2-bedroom flat, but the layout is actually 1 bedroom/study room with a large desk, plus a living room with a sofa + bed. Both the bedroom and living room have Murphy beds. The bedroom/study area also only comes with one office chair, and the monitors visible in the listing photos are not included in the rental. The space itself works well, but these details are worth clarifying in the listing to avoid mismatched expectations.

This was a great stay. The beds are very comfortable. The owner has lots of linen folded nicely as pictured. The kitchen is well equipped. One thing you may not notice is the balcony is screened in so you don't have to worry about bugs or birds. Wifi worked well. The furniture is of good quality. Apartment is clean. We had a happy stay. Seeing the Millennium Cross day and night and the mountain was fabulous. Lots of sites very walkable. Plenty of food, drink, grocery and pharmacy nearby. Valentina was a wonderful host. She met us and showed us the apartment. She is always available should you need anything. Her pictures of the apartment are accurate. We would absolutely stay here again.

The house is very convenient. Its location is excellent. It's quiet and very close to the city center. One of the most significant features of the location is that, walking in from the street directly across from the house, you have easy access to the many bars, nightclubs, and restaurants in the Debar Maalo city district. I highly recommend visiting that area. Your trip to Skopje wouldn't be complete without visiting Matka Canyon. One of the best features of the house is that bus line 60 to Matka departs from the station directly opposite the house (it departs every two hours) and drops you off at the stop right in front of the house on the way back. The kitchen has ample supplies, but cooking space is a bit tight. The refrigerator and freezer are large enough and cool well. The beds are generally comfortable. One of the rooms is separated by a separate door. The other bed is in the living room. I think the armchair opposite the TV unit could accommodate two more people.

The shower is heated by a water heater. It was bad that there was no place to hang the shower head when showering in the tub. The water pressure was a bit low. There's no shower cabin; instead, there's a shower curtain, which causes water to splash around.
