Really worthwhile!

Central location, plenty of stores and restaurants. There was an amazing pastry shop not far away. The apartment was very clean and well furnished. It was comfortable, but I wouldn’t call it luxurious. The best about it was manager Monika. Whatever we needed, she provided it. Fresh towels, more cups, a night lamp, etc. She responded to our messages in blitz time. We felt we were in good hands!

Lots of space, helpful staff! the locations was good enough to enjoy the city and near some good restaurants at Diamond Mall. Some nice bars around too.

A comfortable and affordable accommodation close to the city center

With Monika’s guidance, our check-in and check-out process was carried out very smoothly. Having different payment options provided extra comfort. The location of the house is excellent—you can reach the main square in just a 10-minute walk. Monika was also a very warm and welcoming host, and she helped us with any questions we had.

Since I enjoy drinking coffee, it would have been nice to have a coffee machine, a cezve (Turkish coffee pot), mugs, and coffee cups available.

Clean and very nice apartment

Location, comfortable and modern

The property shows a balcony but that is for 3 properties we thought we had a balcony but it was a Juliette balcony that you obviously couldn’t sit out. Host responded straight away. We only wish the property had listed apartments separately so you know about balcony.

Worse and the most loud place ever, from inside and outside. Be careful the host is not pleasent at all!!

Bad host and very noisy place, dogs making noise in the Bildung and cars outside. Not for family and small children. We have horrible night over there and the host did it even worse. Without understanding and with the excuse that the noise is not from them but from the neighbors. Really bad experience, never more and everyone should know before booking there!!! Be careful people!!!

Excellent location with superb host!

Everything was great! The apartment was in a perfect location only 5-10 minute walk from Macedonia Square, a minute or 2 from great restaurants, coffee shops etc. The apartment itself was spacious, very clean and comfortable. Monika our host was absolutely lovely and she was so helpful, and kind enough to book our taxi for us to our next location. I would 110% stay here again!

Great location and a nice modern apartment. The host was helpful with restaurant advice.

It would be nice to have a bottle of water on arrival. The host said she’d come in 10 minutes after our arrival but we waited half an hour and were terribly thirsty so had to go to shop and then return to wait for her. Also the check out instructions on door said leave key in box downstairs so we left the card key in the box but this was apparently not supposed to be done so it was a bit confusing.

Great host, good location

I wanna start with Monika, the host: she has been amazing, very very very helpful and super nice! Fantastic!! The location in 10 or less minutes away from the main square and a street full of bars and restaurants, so it's great. The room and floor were clean even though room hasn't been cleaned every day. The bed is ok, we slept well. The check-in process is very easy and we arrived to the hotel after midnight.

The equipment of the room is basic but can't complain, we get what we paid for. We spent 5 nights here, not sure towels and sheets have been changed.

Good location, but far from luxury standards

Great location, close to main attractions

Very poor equipmemt (no coffe maker, no iron, no broom, no mop), damp stains on the wall, superficial cleaning (dead cockroach in the kitcen, dust on light fixtures), far below expectations for a "luxury" apartment.

Perfect

It was warm, clean and there is everything we need. And Dimitri was very helpful, kind and thoughtful. He heated the room before we arrived so we don’t feel chilly.

Not luxury at all

The apartment is very conveniently located close to the centre of town, at a walking distance to shopping malls, coffee bars, restaurants, museums, etc.

We have been using Booking for a long time but this is the first time that the pictures and description of a property completely dismatch the reality. The apartment is far from luxurious, the toilet and shower handle were very dirty, the shower does not evacuate the water, the towels very old and some even with holes in the middle, the walls show water damage and the paint is damaged at many places. The internet did not function at arrival, lucky we had with us a local person (not the owner) who was able to communicate with the internet provider, but internet was not restored until after midnight and we had to use roaming charges in order to be able to call the owner. The coffee table is broken and there are no curtains anywhere, not only there is no intimacy but also it is difficult to sleep un the morning as the sun comes in directly on the bed. There are very little kitchen ustensils, 1 coffee cup and no tea cups, no coffee machine of any kind, no ironing board or iron, the hot water in the bathroom was at best lukewarm. Electricity plugs in the bedroom are out of their sockets and wires exposed. When we addressed the owner with the issues, and asked him if at least he could do something about the curtains, he said that we were being difficult and complaining all the time, and that we should hang towels or something on the windows if the light bothers us. We were very disappointed by this place. We requested from the owner to move us to a different apartment otherwise we would move out, so he did, but the other apartment was pretty much in the same condition, still no curtains in the bedroom, but this one was on the other side of the building and very noisy as it was close to the main road with a lot of traffic and not good sound insolation. So we moved back to the first one.

We enjoyed the communication with Dimitri and his hospitality. It elevated the stay and made us feel very welcome. If you have any questions, Dimitri will take care of it. He has many suggestions what you can do, see and where to eat. Best way to experience Skopje. Otherwise he property was very nice, rooms were big and had all necessities. We were very happy with our stay and will recommend everyone to book with Dimitri when staying in Skopje (or Ohrid).

A comfy home

Homely apartment with a balcony and air-con in main room and bedroom which was definitely needed in 38 degree heat! It's three blocks to the centre square (10 minutes) and then you're free to explore! A walk to the park/stadium/zoo takes 20 minutes. Couch and bed were very comfy and plenty of places to recharge your electrics. You can also leave your luggage inside the hallway of the property and collect later.

Didn't realise you have to turn on the boiler to have hot water - this is on the button panel outside the bathroom! This was our fault because we didn't read the instructions above the front door inside the property. We arrived at night and so the property was difficult to find - luckily our lovely taxi driver called the owner who directed us to correct location.

Mixed feelings

The landlord was very gentle. I was always there to offer solutions. The communication was perfect

The apartment was damaged (walls and bath). It was ok, but I found out when I arrived. The landlord offered another flat in other area. I could not change since I was there for work and I need it to be in that location. It would be nice to tell people before arrival about all the problems and damages
