Good value, very convenient location.

Great location and the property is very nicely decorated and relatively well equipped. It was always nice and warm There are lots of games and local books. The kitchen and living room are really lovely.

The bedrooms are very small, with no space for personal belongings. We were there for 4 days and had traveled internationally so had cases which became obstacles in the room. The mattresses are very uncomfortable. It was like sleeping on a hay bale and my neck is now suffering. It would be useful to have more than 1 key, it was a bit of a pain when someone wanted to go home early, they either had to luck everyone else out or leave the door unlocked.

A comfortable stay ☺️

Very easy to access the apartment as we received very detailed directions from the host . We were lucky enough to access a car parking space outside of the property! On arrival, we were able to place a grocery order online of milk, bread and other essentials (wine) which arrived within 20 minutes! There are lots of eatery options nearby too which is great! The heating was on when we arrived and the house was cosy. My 7 year old daughter and I enjoyed a game of dominos which was provided by the property.

There was road noise outside of the master bedroom; although it was minor and we’re not used to it; so possibly just more tuned into it during our stay! The stairs in the property are quite steep and we had to watch our 1 year old like a hawk as the living space is all upstairs whereas the kitchen is downstairs. Again, not a major issue as we kept the living room door closed where possible.

Great location. Cosy living room and bedrooms. A spacious and well stocked kitchen.

Very hard to access the terraced house because of cars parked blocking the alley way entrance. We had to lift our luggage over a wall and squeeze past the car.

Clean and good location but listing information is inaccurate.

The location is excellent. The property is clean although the rugs could be replaced.

There were some issues around the temperature in the property and lack of control over the nest however the host did agree to turn the temperature up after a few messages back and forth. The accommodation is not child friendly. The accommodation is also not suitable for those with mobility issues. The accommodation is over two levels (not on listing) and the stairs are extremely steep. There is no stair gate (hence not child friendly) and knives and utensils are stored at children's eye level, not in a cupboard and not locked away. The listing should really be updated to include this absolutely VITAL information.

The location was great. Lovely accommodation hidden away. Nice and clean. Very roomy. Nice little touches everywhere, books games and beautiful art work. Long stay car park a few minutes walk away.

The only issue I had was it was so warm in the apartment, but when you open the windows it is really noisy due to road noise and machinery.

I had an excellent stay and will stay again for sure.

How well it was all looked after and how clean everything was. Really appreciated the peppermint tea as well. The kitchen was easy to use and had everything you needed. Internet was excellent which is needed for work. would thoroughly recommend.

No microwave which I could have done with. That's literally it.

Stylish and secluded

Quirky and comfortable the apartment is really homely and welcoming. I loved the layout and style, the lounge/diner was very peaceful and easy to work in and I liked the special little touches like sweets at check in, toiletries and tea bags.Thank you so much for having me. I would love to come back when in the area for work again.

5 Stars for Old Meadow 😊

Central location within walking distance of everything. Apartment had all mod cons and we all had a proper bed to sleep in-no sofa beds in sight !!! We would be happy to stay here again :o)

Maybe some hand towels along with the bath towels? The thermostat in the lounge was a bit of a mystery at first but once we got the hang of it , it was straightforward to use. The host was kind enough to adjust the heating remotely for us the first morning, after a short phone call. Thanks again for that !

There's only free parking in the evening/early morning. Though parking fees aren't very high.

really fabulous

really clean and cosy, unusual layout with loads of character. right off the Main Street.

parking was in a car park but it was really only a minute walk and we were able to pull up out front to load and unload the car.

Superb

Lovely cottage in the centre of town. Ideal for local shops / services and as a base to explore the pennines. We found the property to absolutely lovely and would definately return if we are ever in the area again.

To be honest there wasn't anything to dislike about it. The only thing that might be an issue for some are the narrow stairs that link the kitchen to the rest of the property which might be difficult for some. Other than that, the place was great.
