A magical little place on Little Street

I've stayed in a lot of places in Macclesfield but this was definitely a winner for me. Absolutely loved being there! I felt at home as soon as I set foot in the place. The main living area is very well laid out with a good choice of channels on the TV and great facilities in the kitchen for cooking your own food. The bedroom is spacious and comfortable and the bed is an absolute dream to sleep in. I loved the option of having a bath or a shower and found the bathroom a lovely calming space. Thank you so much for having me James and I don't doubt I will be back (fingers crossed) it is a truly special apartment.

Only thing was it could have done with a throw on the leather sofa as it was chilly to sit on. I used the throw off the bed and it was automatically improved.

Tastefully decorated flat very centrally located in Macclesfield

The flat was really tastefully furnished and decorated, and the location is very central for Macclesfield. The kitchen had all the facilities needed and overall the flat was great.

There was a bit of a draught from the front door. It had turned a lot colder just prior to our arrival in Macclesfield so we had to turn the heating up to get the lounge / kitchen warm enough (good instructions were available to do so). Bedroom and bathroom were fine, so did not overly affect our stay and would stay again but choose a warmer time of year!

Lovely stay in the centre of Macclesfield

A great little place - excellent central location, clean, comfortable, just perfect. The host was very responsive in our exchanges and very helpful. The little touches like the cookies, coffee and milk were really lovely too. An excellent stay, would highly recommend.

Short drive to hiking trails

Location good, with a pay-carpark nearby. Restaurants and cafes all within walking distance. Host James was very responsive to queries, esp when we had a hiccup of boiler pressure.

Shower was really very weak though water was hot. Everyone took a much longer time to shower, which translates to much waiting time for everyone else. That’s not very ideal when there’s only one bathroom cum toilet in the apartment. We came to Macclesfield for hiking, and if the apartment comes with a washing machine, that would be a great plus.

Property was very immaculate and very stylish. Bed was very comfortable. Coffee and biscuits were lovely little welcome.

A beautiful warm, well-appointed apartment within walking distance of the town centre and shops.

The apartment was tastefully decorated to suit the age of the building. The bed was very comfortable. I loved the lightly perfumed bed covers and toilet paper which added to the experience. There was a helpful guide with information to ensure we had a positive stay. James was very helpful and available if there were any questions or concerns.

The water pressure for the shower which was over the bath was not very strong. Carrying heavy suitcases up the steep narrow stairs was a bit of an effort

Well located in the centre of town, easy access, nice touches from the owner, freshly ground coffee, milk and biscuits. Spotlessly clean and warm.

The water pressure in the shower was a little bit on the weak side, however there was plenty of hot water so not really a problem for a short stay.

Everything. It's well equipped, the bed is very comfortable. It was very clean too and instructions to enter the flat were clear. The location was perfect, central yet quiet. Would definitely recommend and stay there again if I'm in Macclesfield!

Excellent location, close to the centre of the town. Beautifully furnished, fully and stylishly equipped kitchen, gorgeous sash window with leafy outlook. spotlessly clean! Friendly, responsive owner who left freshly roasted coffee, milk and chocolate biscuits in the apartment for a much needed brew on arrival. Hands down the best place we’ve ever rented in Macc!

Beautiful apartment!

Beautiful apartment with everything needed for a comfortable stay. I stayed for two nights with my tween daughter and we felt safe and secure. Walking distance to the town centre and station, lots of lovely restaurants and shops to explore. Parking was easy and communication from James was always very speedy and helpful. I would definitely stay again.

We spent a lot of time in this little apartment ,it was clean and comfortable , quiet and secure !

location was excellent , central safe and quiet .

I found the bed too soft ,this is a personal thing ,it was well dressed and clean and very good for a few nights stay .
