Great place to stay when touring Normandy.

Beautiful restored French farmhouse with comfortable rooms and secure parking. Cathy herself is a warm and friendly lady. She is full of helpful advice and is always on hand when needed. Breakfast is a treat especiale. St. Lô itself is a great place to base oneself whilst touring Normandy as it is centrally situated in this historical province. I have no reservations in recommending this guest house to anyone wanting peace and quiet with friendly hospitality whilst enjoying a visit to Normandy

We felt very welcome and at home like family.

Cathy was an excellent hostess. She even assisted when we received short notice our train into Paris was cancelled on short notice and left us scrambling for replacement travel. She even called on a family member in Rennes to check out some aspects of our replacement travel arrangements. When we left, she provided a phone number for help.

Cathy's place was a great place!

Accommodation quirky, comfortable and exceptionally clean. Loved Cathy and her animals and her amazing rhubarb jam! Her English was FAR better than our lazy French Corporate it's not - just what we like

Very comfortable room in a lovely home. Cathy was very welcoming. The meal tray she offered was delicious and good value for money. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.

Super friendly host and pets

Cathy was really welcoming, allowing us to use the garden hose to wash down our bikes. She contacted us earlier to offer dinner as it was a Sunday and local restaurants were likely closed, we gladly accepted after a long day in the saddle and Le chien was super friendly too!

The toilet facilities were not en-suite and we shared with another guest - no problem really, just a feature of the layout of the property

Best kind of B&B

Run by the very able and helpful Kathy, this B&B is excellent in every way. The owner/manager Kathy is very pleasant and could not be more helpful. It's close to the town where good dining is to be had. There is a nice garden with seating, and it was quiet. Kathy has excellent English which was a help via email with details before our trip. Recommended.

There is one loo between the two rooms, which was not the slightest problem for us, with another lady guest occupying the other room and being so quiet we did'nt see her at all. Don't let it put you off, especially since everythng is spotless.

An exceptional host who went above and beyond

Perfect location for my friend and I on our cycling trip through Normandy. We had a safe place to store our bikes, and Cathy went above and beyond communicating in the lead up to our trip. She booked us a lovely restaurant too, and surprised me with a home-baked cake for my birthday too. This really was the best place to stay on our whole trip.

It was a delight

Cathy was a great hostess, she really made us feel at home. The room was nice and clean and so was the bathroom. Breakfast however was exceptional! Fresh baguette and all jams including yoghurt at the time were all homemade and it was absolutely delicious. Cathy also offered to cook us some scrambled eggs she was a fantastic host. Will definitely be returning when visiting the area again. Her English is also great as our French is not so good.

Quiet out of town location, super host, really comfortable stay

Really nice out of town location and fabulous host. Just perfect for our group overnight stay riding the Petite Manche. The host Cathy couldn’t be more helpful. Booked us a great restaurant on Sunday evening (not easy to do in France!) The rooms were really comfortable and the shared facilities perfect and the breakfast absolutely lovely. Highly recommended

A lovely location very close to the centre of St-Lô, Cathy was super friendly and communication was not a problem. A safe place to be able to store bikes overnight, as well as a very pleasant breakfast prepared in the morning. Nothing was too much trouble, and I always felt very welcome.

Very friendly hostess and attractive, characterful property. Good secure storage for our electric bikes. Face moisturiser and serum for my wind blown skin was very gratefully received.

We had a mix up about our arrival time (most likely our fault) which meant we had to cycle up the hill twice. It would have been nice to have an en-suite bathroom but this was reflected in the price.

Great Stay

Cathy was such a friendly host, along with her dog. There was a very nice breakfast provided as well with bread and homemade preserves. If you're in the area or passing through, it's a wonderful place to stay for a night or a few to use as a base to see Normandy. I highly recommend it.

Nous avons passé une très bonne nuit et reposante. Un grand MERCI à Cathy pour son accueil chaleureux. La demeure est tout simplement magnifique. BRAVO pour la décoration qui allie le charme de l'ancien à des touches de modernité. Quant au petit déjeuner .. on s'est tous régalés. Nous avons goûté toutes les "confitures maison" de Cathy... un vrai délice :)

Struttura accogliente e pulitissima, con un comodo parcheggio. Cathy è stata eccezionale nell’accoglierci e gentilissima in tutto, dai suggerimenti su dove cenare al prepararci la colazione. Ha reso il nostro passaggio per Agneaux davvero indimenticabile!
