Amazing renovated hotel!

The property is renovated and it looks luxurious. The staff was amazing, very friendly. The rooms were quiet and comfortable.

Maybe just that you have to go and eat breakfast down the road 100m in another restaurant. They don’t serve breakfast in the hotel itself. Other than that, everything was great we will be back for sure.

The location is a bit outside the town center, but the views of Lake Ohrid and the surrounding area are absolutely breathtaking, offering peace, quiet, and beautiful scenery. The room was very clean and comfortable, and we especially appreciated the high standards of cleanliness throughout the hotel. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful, making us feel right at home and Vjollca the cleaning lady was very nice person.

The breakfast was served 50metres down the hill in another nearby restaurant that although was very nice the return uphills is quite difficult for me at least🤪and although the location offers tranquility and incredible view you need car to get to the city centre.

Our stay at La Vista Apartments was nothing short of outstanding! The location is absolutely perfect, with breathtaking views over Lake Ohrid that you never get tired of. The apartment itself was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, with excellent air conditioning that made it easy to relax after a day of exploring. The facilities are fantastic—there’s a wonderful pool and spa area overlooking the lake that feels like pure luxury, and the convenient laundry service made our stay even easier. What truly makes La Vista Apartments special, though, is the staff. Marija at the front desk was always bubbly, smiling, and genuinely the sweetest person to be greeted by each day—she made every interaction a joy. And Ivanka from housekeeping went above and beyond in the most thoughtful way possible by baking me my favorite Macedonian pastries as a gift when we checked out. That kind of warmth and hospitality is rare, and it made our experience unforgettable. Borce also provided us with a fantastic dinner recommendation at a restaurant that was overlooking all of Ohrid! We couldn’t recommend La Vista Apartments highly enough and can’t wait to return!

Pleasant stay during August

The hotel offers a spacious room with a comfortable bed and a beautiful outdoor area featuring a pool with excellent views. Staff are friendly and helpful with local recommendations. The quiet location outside Ohrid city center provides a nice retreat from the hustle and bustle.

We could hear party music from nearby venues playing until the early hours every night, which was quite disruptive. Getting to the city center requires a taxi, and it would be convenient if the hotel offered room billing for their recommended taxi service. Breakfast is served at a nearby restaurant and is decent but unremarkable - some clearer information about the arrangement and options at the hotel would help.

Modern hotel with an amazing view, beautiful and spacious hotel rooms with a great bathroom. Very, very friendly staff! The pool with this view is the cherry on the top!

Everything was excellent, the view was stunning, the room had everything we needed, was nicely decorated and spotless and the pool area was perfect for chilling out after a walk in the sunshine. We enjoyed the restuarant a few minutes walk away for breakfast and went there a couple of times for dinner too. Staff were really friendly and couldn't be more helpful either

Nothing we didn't like. It was about a 30 min walk into town which we did most days but crossing the road at the bottom wasn't ideal at night. A taxi was easy and cheap though and once we had crossed the road at the bottom of the hill it was a nice walk.

Excellent hotel with great staff and facilities, but parking can be inconvenient.

We loved the rooms, the pool, the view and the staff. The staff wrote us a little sign and gifted us a box of chocolates because it was our honeymoon, and were very sweet and welcoming. The hotel itself is very nice, clean and modern. It’s only a short drive from the centre of town and has a great restaurant nearby.

The parking situation allows for cars to block others in and cars need to be moved around for you to get out, which is inconvenient. If you are not comfortable with someone else driving your car this may be an issue for you. There are also some stairs up to the reception before the elevator.

A truly memorable stay with exceptional staff

We celebrated a birthday here and it was the perfect getaway. One thing we must commend is the staff, as they were incredibly polite and accommodating, which speaks volumes about their working conditions and the overall atmosphere of the place. They went out of their way to make sure we spent the birthday in a great mood, adding thoughtful touches that made the experience even more special, and we truly appreciate it. The in-villa prices are also very reasonable, especially considering how out-of-control prices in Ohrid can get during peak season. We’ll definitely be back!

This isn’t something we disliked, but it’s worth noting: the road leading to the villa is quite steep and the streets are narrow. It might be helpful if the hosts check in advance whether guests are arriving by car and give a heads-up, just to help them prepare for the drive.

Stunning Luxary stay!

The staff are so friendly and helpful. They are willing to arrange travel and provide lots of assistance when looking to book restaurants or excursions. They were always on hand to assist and made everything so easy which helped us relax even more. There is nothing bad to say about this place, with its stunning views over the lake and city. It truly is breathtaking and luxary at a very reasonable price. The food / snacks at the hotel were reasonably priced and well prepared.

Excellent Villa

While a little far out from the center (in the hills), a taxi is cheap to get to the villa from the center and back (300 Macedonian Denar each way). My partner and I walked from the town (approximately 1 hour) and we were met with stunning views from the hill top. The pool is a great added bonus, with excellent views of the lake day\night when relaxing by the pool. The staff were extremely friendly too and the rooms were very clean, modern with a good shower! :D Breakfast was delicious, too.

You will be getting much more than you expected

Wow!

Stunning place to stay, from the minute we walked into the accommodation we were made to feel like friends, not guests. La vista has the best view and our room was beautiful. The attention to detail and cleanliness were exceptional along with the service from all the staff , nothing was too much trouble and we were always greeted with a smile. Every detail had been thought about from getting us taxis into the centre to having breakfast at the nearby restaurant, and the stunning view from the walk in shower! Everywhere was stylish and smelt wonderful! We didn't want to leave. Thank you Tina and all at La vista.
