Xkeban Adults-Only Weekend Party

The property is really beautiful. I went during the week so it was quiet. The decor in and out of the rooms is really nice. The restaurant had attentive service and is beautiful. The staff are super friendly.

I had the balcony room and I felt the tub outside was dirty so I didn’t use. Also not very private, the curtains on the balcony could not go over plants. It is really cute but I didn’t use it….but it was very nice just to sit.

On a positive note, the hotel has a very cool design and a great atmosphere. I especially loved the rooftop terrace. The room was also unexpectedly spacious, and the bed was very comfortable, which made the stay relaxing. Wifi worked well too.

Overall, my stay had some positive aspects, but unfortunately it began with a confusing situation at check-in. Upon arrival, I was asked to pay an additional tax even though the taxes had already been paid through the Booking.com app. When I showed the receptionist the payment confirmation, I was told that there was another type of tax that needed to be paid. After contacting Booking.com customer service, it was clarified that no additional tax should have been charged, and the amount was eventually refunded to me. While the issue was resolved, it did create an unpleasant first impression. Additionally, my Booking.com reservation mentioned a 10% discount on any consumption at the property, but this discount was not applied during my stay. It would be helpful if such promotions were honored consistently so guests can rely on what is advertised. Finally, the hotel advertisement mentioned a rooftop bar with a DJ. I understand that it may have been the off-season and that there were fewer guests at the hotel, but unfortunately the rooftop area was completely inactive during my stay, with no drinks or events available. It might be helpful to clarify seasonal availability in the listing so guests know what to expect. I hope this feedback is useful for improving the guest experience, as clearer communication and consistency with advertised offers would make future stays more enjoyable, because the hotel is a really beautiful one.

Very nice design of the hotel and decoration with plants. Location also very good. Personnel were doing their best and were very helpful and kind. Our room was very comfortable. We had the duplex room.

The room was not ready so we had another room the first night. The hotel and the rooms, even though they are very nice, could be a bit better maintained as a few things were starting to get old (airco leaking a bit, shower with hot water issues at the beginning of our stay, the bath tubs on the balcony not looking cleaned). The rooftop is also very nice but felt a bit abandoned, apart from Thursday to Sunday (3 consecutive days) when they plan parties until 11pm. Even though we were aware of the noise on those days, it could feel quite intense, especially on the 3rd dat as we stayed at the hotel an entire week. Breakfast was good but a bit overpriced.

The interior was amazing. I chose a room with a bathtub, and every space was beautifully designed with great attention to detail.

The music at the rooftop bar plays from morning until late at night, and it’s very loud. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to rest in my room during the day because of the noise. I had booked the hotel for three nights but decided to leave after two and move to a quieter place. If you enjoy having music playing all day, this is a beautiful spot and you’ll likely love it. However, if you’re looking for peace and relaxation, the constant noise may be overwhelming for your nervous system
