Pinehouse Velipoja

The location is exactly as in the picture. It is simple, not fancy at all, but you can find everything you need for a decent even good staying. The owner is very pleasant, helpful. The location of the house is in the middle of everyting needed: 5min walk to the sea, 1 min walk to the first shop ( the owner of the shop is great, he can change you the euro in leka), 8min walk to the central market , where in the evening the distraction begins. I felt very safe in the house, though the first impression entering the city wasn't so good. The Eja restaurant is very good( I will put some pictures of the food from here). The California Beach the price for an umbrella and 2 chairs in september was 5 euro for the day ( though some local people said in august first line till the 7th was 10 euro), the guys from there are very good, they already know their frequent customers and take care of them. The water is wonderful, clear, warm and has a light entering. The beach is a safe place. The sand on the beach is brown, by the sayings from the locals it is beacause it is full with iodine. Though it is a peaceful and quite place. In the second night at the restaurant termal line 1, which is next to the house the music was till 3 am, which was exausting. But per general the staying at this property is very nice, pleasant.

The city has a lot of mosquitos, I wasn't prepared for such a hard fight with them. In the whole city they are a lot of them. Even when staying in the restaurant, some times is very hard. So bring with you a very good solution for them. There a lot of the in the shops, but to be frank it is very expensive. Do not order in Bella Vera Caesar Salad - they do not know what that means. A lot of people do not speak English, and even few of them understands it. At California Beach bar to be frank the 7cocktails are awful. Most of them is with a lot of ice, some sirop, nothing more ( alcoholic one is 7 euro, and non alcoholic is 4 euro, it is a waste of money), but the coffee is great.

Od plaze do centra cjela ponuda je odlicna za djecu ima jako puno aktivnosti , ljepo veliko setaliste do centra.Na plazi sitan pjesak , jake ponude za kupnju uz mire od kukuruza , krumpira, krafni , slikanje sa ponijem i kaficem.

Samo da je cistija plaza i ljudima kulture....

Really great place to discover the north and to enjoy the sea every day. Dori is a very nice guy and knows everybody in that place ! Simple house but with everything you need.
