Querini Suite-Balcony on canal, close to San Marco

Het contact voorafgaand aan onze reservering was ontzettend prettig en daar hebben we echt profijt van gehad. Zo konden we onder andere de parking en watertaxi vooraf goed regelen. Het appartement zelf was heel leuk, kraakhelder en fantastisch gelegen. De bedden waren heerlijk en aan werkelijk alles was gedacht. We hebben ons er meteen helemaal thuis gevoeld!

Het was erg warm in Venetië tijdens ons verblijf. Het appartement beschikt gelukkig over maar liefst drie airco-units (beide slaapkamers en woonkamer) – echt een luxe! De unit voor de woonkamer hangt echter bij de entree, waardoor de koele lucht de woonkamer en keuken onvoldoende bereikt. Hierdoor bleef het in de woonkamer en keuken helaas vrij warm.

We loved the location; the views from the kitchen and balcony of the quiet canal were superb; and the beds were nice and cozy. A previous review stated there was a lack of cups and plates; however, there is a whole cupboard full of plates, cups, and bowls in the living room.

The accommodation was very average; there wasn't anything I liked about it.

The keys are provided by a third party, requiring a precise appointment time for the handover. Due to a train delay, we had to push our appointment back to 4:15 PM, only to be told that if the train was delayed any further, they would have very little buffer time left before their next appointment. It's inconvenient to get the keys. The bathroom was very small, making it extremely inconvenient for four people. We booked a three-night stay, but ran out of toilet paper halfway through. The bath towels were old and of poor quality. There was no duvet; instead, there was just an old, poor-quality sheet and a blanket. I couldn't tell if the blanket had been washed between guests. Sleeping is extremely uncomfortable. I mentioned the issue with the blanket to the host the next day, but nothing was done about it.
