Just Urban Stays - Castello 5067 boutique apartment

We loved our stay here. The location in Castello is fantastic, only about a 10-minute walk from San Marco and the main sights, but just far enough away to feel like you’re staying in a more authentic part of Venice, with wonderful local bars and restaurants around the corner. It’s also a brilliant location for the Biennale, with the Arsenale and Giardini within an easy 20/25 minute walk. The apartment itself is lovely and was great for our family of four. It has high ceilings, three beds and a nice compact kitchen. There’s also a supermarket a very short walk away, which was convenient. Lorenzo was an absolutely wonderful host. He gave us a fantastic list of local restaurants and bars – trust his recommendations, they were excellent! He met our water taxi when we arrived, helped us with our bags and had left cookies, juice and sparkling water for us. He was incredibly friendly, thoughtful and communicative throughout our stay. Having the towels changed and bathroom cleaned midway through our stay was also a lovely touch. If you’re arriving by train, we highly recommend taking a water taxi directly to the apartment – it was a wonderful way to arrive in Venice. We highly recommend Lorenzo and the apartment, particularly if you plan to visit the Venice Biennale.

L'emplacement est central et calme à la fois. Nous avons pu visiter Venise à pieds facilement. L'appartement est très propre et les lits confortables. Nous étions 3 et pour 4 nuits, c'est parfait.

L'adresse ne nous a pas été fournie et la localisation du site BKG n'était pas exacte. L'hôte nous a envoyé des photos pour retracer l'itinéraire depuis notre arrivée plutot que nous donner l'adresse qui aurait été plus simple...

I had the pleasure of staying at Lorenzo's apartment in Venice, and it was by far the best accommodation of my one-week trip. Lorenzo was an amazing host—reliable, friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The apartment was spacious, comfortable, spotlessly clean, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. It was in an excellent location, close to all the main attractions while still being tucked away from the noise, making it peaceful and quiet. Lorenzo went above and beyond to ensure I found the apartment. Although I think it might have been even easier if he had recommended a single location to enter into Google Maps, he more than made up for it by sending detailed directions and helpful photos, which made finding the property straightforward. I also really appreciated the thoughtful touches. He had complimentary drinks, coffee, and tea waiting for me when I arrived, which made me feel genuinely welcome. Whenever I needed assistance or had a question, Lorenzo was always available and happy to help. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would not hesitate to stay here again. If I could give more than 10 out of 10, I would. I highly recommend Lorenzo's apartment to anyone visiting Venice.I hope to return one day. Thank you, Lorenzo, for making my stay so enjoyable.
