It’s not so much I didn’t like where we are but they are clear about the experience. It a traditional Lappish experience and that’s what they’re proud of and I think everybody should experience. It’s a very pretty and private location. And the most accommodating and helpful staff. They’ve accommodated us back when our ride got stuck in the snow with free coffee and hot chocolate 😃 Vast forest and incredible view of the lake 😃

Outstanding…

We stayed for 2 nights at Skyfire Village Igloos in Rovaniemi, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The property is absolutely perfect – incredibly romantic, peaceful, and beautifully isolated from the outside world. Right in front of the igloos, there is a breathtaking frozen lake that creates a magical and almost surreal atmosphere. The silence, the pure Arctic nature, and the feeling of being completely disconnected from daily life made this stay deeply relaxing and special. It is the perfect place to slow down, reconnect, and simply enjoy the beauty of Lapland. A very special and heartfelt thank you to Birit and Ola. From the moment we arrived, they welcomed us with such warmth and sincerity that we immediately felt at home. Their kindness, genuine smiles, and constant willingness to help made a real difference in our experience. They were always attentive, thoughtful, and ready to assist with anything we needed. You can truly feel that they care about their guests, not just professionally but personally. Thanks to them, our stay was not only comfortable, but also filled with warmth and positive energy. We highly recommend Skyfire Village Igloos to anyone looking for a unique, romantic, and peaceful escape in Lapland. It is a place we will always remember with gratitude.

A miraculous time. More than I could ever dream or imagine.

The instructions to arrive at the property could have been better. I said iam arriving by a taxi however the instructions provided guided me wrong and had to spend a lot for the taxi

Unique adventure, thrill to the senses and breathtaking.

Amazing location on a lake with warm comfortable Aurora Hut ‘igloo’ to relax in and with large glass panels to enjoy the landscape and sky at night. Such a different holiday experience with breathtaking scenery and an otherworldly feel. Private sauna in the evening with the contrast of freezing -25c outside was also fun.

Hard to criticise somewhere unique when we knew the limitations before we went. It’s not for everyone. It’s off the grid with just usb to charge phones and you would need to know your travel companion well. No running water means the compostable toilet in hut/cabin is a bit like camping and not so private. Dinner / food we ordered was expensive but we had accepted that in advance and were happy with the presentation and quality in the communal dining hut with the big central fire.

Very nice location, we truly enjoyed our stay!

The property is located in a very beautiful and special place in the heart of the forest, next to a lake. The hosts have been very friendly and polite and did their very best to make us feel like home, a home at the North Pole. We enjoyed great activities with Markku and seen the Aurora Borealis straight from our accommodation, was amazing! Thanks guys.

minimalistic luxury. Perfect for an escape into the nature. We enjoyed the nice weather, the site of Aurora Borealis from the shore of the pittoresque little lake and forest. The fantastic sunset during our walk in the forest with the hot berry juice offered by the host! very nice memories of Finland to take with us!

Probably one of the best experience of our life !

What a beautiful place ! The igloo surrounding by the forest is very cute, the view is beautiful ! You also have a great sauna. The best place to see Northern lights if the sky is clear enough. We enjoyed the local food, the snowshoes and all nice time we had with the staff ! Just a thing you need to know, is that the shower isn’t in the igloo but in the Sauna, which was not an issue for us. If you want an authentic experience, it’s the place you must go !

One night with northern lights

The managers of the structure were exceptional, friendly and always available. It's a small village for just a few people so it's very private and peaceful. The views are splendid and the place enchanting. The rooms are very welcoming and each has its own stove / fireplace.

Heerlijke plek voor rustzoekers!

Als je houdt van rust zit je hier goed. Heerlijk midden in het bos, aan het meer. Geen elektriciteit (alles op grote batterij), geen stromend water( maar wel een kraantje met drinkwater met pompje), geen wi-fi. Vernuftig toilet ( je ruikt niets). Je kunt er heerlijk eten ( eten wat de pot schaft) en gebruik maken van de sauna (tijd reserveren). Je kunt eigenlijk alleen maar wandelen en ‘ nixen’ . Het is er heel donker dus het noorderlicht is goed te zien (bij ons was het er 2 van de 3 nachten). Heerlijke plek!

Er is geen enkel plankje of kastje waar je iets in kan doen of op leggen. Dat zou wel fijn zijn. De communicatie vooraf verliep rommelig. Duurde lang voordat ik antwoord had en het bleek dat afgesproken zaken niet bekend waren. Dit is ter plekke zonder probleem hersteld. Het adres voor een Uber klopt niet. Je moet naar een parkeerplaats waar je opgehaald wordt maar die plek heeft geen adres. Bij ons heeft de Uber de gegeven instructies opgevolgd. De accommodatie wordt warm gehouden met een pallet kachel. Soms is het heel warm en dan weer koud.

Sehr besonders, für eine Nacht total schön!

Es war total ruhig und schön abgelegen an einem großen See. Das Charlet war schön eingerichtet und hatte eine tollen Ausblick. Die Sauna war auch super und es gab eine Feuerstelle. Landschaftlich magisch.

Das Frühstück war sehr einfach für den Preis, aber voll okay. Da könnte man noch etwas mehr rausholen.

Vilket äventyr.. mysigt

Det var mysigt.. vi hade bokat en igloo som låg nere vid sjön. Den var välutrustat och mysig. Bastu ingick. Man kunde ha med egen mat och laga över öppen eld.. vi fick åka släde in till stället när vi parkerat bilen.. ett äventyr helt enkelt

Lite svårt att hitta till parkeringen.. skylten var igensnöad..men det löste sig.. vi hittade

Nos perdimos al llegar, una buena recomendación es el ciervo que tienen sobre el cartel, nosotros lo pasamos de largo. Y pega la cena, carísimo, no merece la pena.

Bellissimo, la ragazza ti viene a prendere al parcheggio con la slitta trainata dalla sua motoslitta ti porta fino al tuo igloo, dentro molto bello piccolo il wc piccolissimo ma abbastanza comodo se soggiorni 1/2notti, c’è un piccolo lavandino con un contenitore d’acqua giusto per lavarti mani/denti/viso. Il costo della cena molto alto però ne vale la pena molto buono e caratteristico mangerai in una kota con fuoco acceso. Lo staf molto gentile

Cosa negativa per noi la colazione anche lei un bel prezzo, ci aspettavamo qualcosa di meglio se potete evitare, evitate!

Traumhafte ruhige Lage im Wald direkt am See mit nur wenigen anderen Hütten/Gästen. Das Personal war sehr bemüht und super hilfsbereit und freundlich. Zimmer sehr sauber. Ausblick auf dem See und in den Himmel durch die Fenster war toll. Sauna top.

Das Frühstück war für den Preis leider zu wenig. Man muss sich bewusst sein, dass es in den Hütten keine Dusche gibt und nur ein Campingklo. Das war für uns kein Problem für zwei Nächte. Für einen längeren Aufenthalt vllt etwas schwieriger. Wenn man diese Umständen kennt und sich darauf einstellt, ist es ein toller Aufenthalt.

Fantastico soggiorno nel bosco finlandese con l’Aurora Boreale

Chalet molto elegante e comodissimo, abbiamo visto l’Aurora dal soffitto trasparente del nostro chalet! Staff molto simpatico, ho apprezzato molto il fatto che questo posto non fosse uno dei classici resort da turisti di massa iper commerciali, ma un autentico villaggio finlandese con chalet in mezzo al bosco, super tipici e rispettosi dell’ambiente e della cultura locale. Questo villaggio unisce perfettamente il comfort e l’eleganza con l’immersione della cultura e delle tradizioni locali finlandesi. Bravi!

Einsame Ruhelage im Wald

Kommunikation subjektiv sehr kompliziert. Ein Check 45min früher scheint nur mit einem Aufpreis von 20euro möglich. Saune/Dusche nur mit Anmeldung möglich - der gewünschte Slot war bereits vergeben, somit nur noch 23:00 möglich - den Slot haben wir dann absagen müssen, da wir zu müde waren. Glasigloo sehr klein, teilweise liegen noch Putzfetzen herum. KEINE Wassergläser vorhanden! Klo funktioniert nicht! Vor dem Igloo liegt Kot (vermutlich vom Vorgast) Die Wege NICHT gestreut und eisglatt. Es ist mit Abstand die günstigste Unterkunft in Lappland gewesen- aber ohne Klo und Trinkmöglichkeiten……
