Fabulous stay by the river

Absolutely stunning location over looking a frozen river that was covered in snow. We had so much fun walking along the river. The owner was so lovely and had the apartment ready so we could check in early and even accommodated us for a late check out. Although it’s 6km outside of the city there is a bus stop right outside the apartment that brings you straight into the city for €3.60 each! ( we used the app moovit to check bus times). The apartment was lovely and warm all the time and had everything we needed!

It was a lovely spot! The hosts had everything ready for us on arrival. It was easy to find and such a great spot to get to the city via a very short taxi trip :)

Beautiful apartment, great location and perfect hosts

This is a beautiful apartment in a brilliant location, just outside of town and next to the river. The hosts are lovely and extremely helpful if ever called upon for anything. Although we originally took a taxi to the property, there is a bus (number 14), but we mostly walked (it's just over 1.5km from the nearest shop and a few km from the start of town). We wanted the peace and quiet of being out of town, and that's exactly what we got. The apartment is lovely and it will definitely be my first choice if I head back to Rovaniemi.

The location and the hospitality..

Slightly off main town, so u will have to spend taxi cost to city or for supermarkets. This is not negative though as once u reach the location u will fall in love with the place. Ensure u have some food u carry and use any tour activity which has pick up and drop ..The host is helpful and awesome.

Nice quiet location. Comfortable, relaxing apartment.

I liked everything about the apartment: But the Taxi to nearest store (Lidl) is expensive (approx €20 for 4Km). But Finland is expensive compared to most of Europe.

The apartament is cosy and has everything you need. I really enjoyed the peaceful neighborhood. Tips given by owners were very helpful. I even saw aurora from the balcony ;) Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Schönes Apartment in toller Umgebung

Das Apartment liegt etwas außerhalb direkt am Fluss in ruhiger Lage mit tollem Ausblick. Man ist aber mit dem Auto in ein paar Minuten entweder im Zentrum oder bei diversen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Die Ausstattung beinhaltet alles was man braucht (inkl. Kaffee und Keksen :-) ) Die Fußbodenheizung im Winter ist sehr angenehm und man fühlt sich auch sonst wohl.

Zauberhafte Unterkunft und Gastfreudschaft pur!

Eine Unterkunft, die alle Erwartungen erfüllt. Das kleine Apartment ist liebevoll eingerichtet. Alles notwendige ist vorhanden. Bei den kalten Temperaturen war die Unterkunft prima beheizt. Wir haben zu keiner Zeit gefroren. Die Hosts sind mehr als zuvorkommend. Unsere Fragen wurden umgehend beantwortet und wir uns konnten während unseres Aufenthaltes immer an die beiden wenden. Das ist pure Gastfreundschaft. Zur Anbindung: Die Unterkunft liegt nicht direkt im Zentrum, jedoch an einem zauberhaften See. (Leider war es an den beiden Tagen bewölkt, sodass uns der Blick auf die Polarlichter verwehrt blieb.) Wenige Meter entfernt ist eine Bushaltestelle, die Richtung Innenstadt fährt (Linie 14). Unter der Woche ist man damit prima angebunden, sofern man keinen Mietwagen hat. Wir würden jeder Zeit wieder kommen!

Ein gemütliches Nest in toller Umgebung

Ein kleines, gemütliches Nest - ausgestattet mit allem, was man braucht - in herrlicher Umgebung. Die Gastgeber - Jaana und Allan - helfen bei allen erdenklichen Fragen. In 200 Meter Entfernung befindet sich die Bushaltestelle zur Fahrt zu den großen Einkaufsmärkten und der Innenstadt. Auf der kleinen Terrasse lassen sich je nach Wetterlage herrlich die Nordlichter beobachten. Wir sind sicher, dass wir diese Unterkunft mit gutem Gewissen empfehlen können!
