The location is brilliant. Central to the centre of town and easy walking distance to the Cathedral and the shops. A very quiet street, no sounds of traffic, just church bells and birdsong. The house is beautiful and so cosy. Although we were unable to use all of the garden, we sat on the terrace and enjoyed looking at all the beautiful flowers and enjoying the peace and quiet. Everything was provided for our use and comfort. Excellent quality furnishings and décor.

Parking was a little confusing at first. We were given details about a parking permit to use during our stay in streets close to the house. I was looking for carparks rather than street parking but, once I realised this then it wasn't a problem. The stairs going to the top floor twin room are very steep but it is a very old house so is to be expected.

I am surprised there aren’t more recent positive reviews. This is a lovely house in a perfect location. It has all the facilities you could need.

There isn’t off road parking but you do get given a digital permit to park on the permit zones nearby

The stairs are incredibly steep to the top floor
