House in historic Winchester

Location is brilliant, pleased we were able to stay longer. The outside garden area was a lovely space

It was rather hot in the bedrooms during the heatwave.

Handy location to the train station and easy to find after a long haul flight. Great location (walking distance) to everything we needed.

Good location. Nice warm, clean hot tub. Well equipped kitchen.

Garden furniture wrought iron with no cushions so no comfy space to sit outside for any length of time.

Excellent location near railway station and town centre. Comfortable beds. Nice bathroom.

Wasn't given code for key lockbox. Had to ring doorbell which fortunately was answered remotely. No instruction file. Had to contact host a second time for WiFi code. (Missed very small label in hall.) Had to email host for instructions on central hearting and use of TV. When oven didn't work (no electricity to hood & oven although the only labelled switch was on) felt we couldn't contact a fourth time. A file would have info on all these matters plus instructions re rubbish collection etc and manuals for all equipment. The stair carpet needs cleaning/replacing. Some of the furniture is shabby. The kitchen is dark, missing a central light. The living room is also dark. There is no provision for clothes storage in bedroom 2. No soap in kitchen for hand-washing. No tablets for dishwasher.
