The host was amazing -- all the reviews about him were true. He could not do enough for us. The room was exactly as pictured -- clean, modern, spacious, and great view from window. Awesome apartment!! We recommend it!
The apartment is in a great location -- centrally located and very close to everything you want to see. The only downside is that you have to climb somewhere between 65-89 starts to get up to the the apartment (depending upon which path you use). Once you arrive at the apartment itself, there are no further steps, because the apartment is on the ground level.
As a courtesy, the host picks you up with your suitcases upon arrival, and drives you to the apartment. When we left, we had no problem taking the suitcases down ourselves to our ferry. When going down the steps to the ferry, use the stairs that go straight down to your right (horizontal to the apartment). Those stairs are spaced further apart, which makes moving the suitcases down fairly easy.
My husband and I agreed we would stay there again despite the stairs! Many apartments in Hvar have stairs, and Sparrow Nest is not unique in that regard.

The Nest in Hvar was an absolute delight from start to finish. We were lucky to have the kindest host, who even offered us a lift up the hill with our heavy suitcase – such a thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture. The apartment was smart, spotlessly clean, and well-appointed, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. From the bedroom window, we had a lovely view of the town, and the balcony was secluded and perfect for a quiet breakfast. We could easily have stayed for a month!

The apartment is spacious and well appointed. The shower is large with great water pressure.
Lovely comfortable bed and ample storage space.
The living room is great with a large screen including Netflix.
Great kitchen also. The host Zoran is really obliging and friendly. You can tell that he wants his guests to feel at home and enjoy their visit.
And the location is amazing- just a little up the steps from the centre of town.
Would have liked bigger towels but Zoran kindly gave us extra when requested.
