Recommended location and comfortable stay

Very comfortable clean, stylish, modern room. It even had a pool ( which we didn’t use ). Good instructions provided on how to find it ( lots of stairs)

Perfect Stay just 2 min walk to the main square in Hvar

We stayed at the Hvar Apartments Ante, which was great. Only a 2 minute walk to the main square. The facilities and great were excellent. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back.

Perfect 3 days in Hvar made special with this top quality accommodation.

Fantastic Location near the main square of old Hvar accessed by walk down steps through the old alleyways and lovely views of the old fort. Owners Tonko, Doris and their son even met us and showed us the way to the apartment and best parking for our hire car as we had come over on the car ferry from Split port to Stari Grad port in Hvar . They were exceptionally helpful and communicated with us via what’s app daily which was brilliant. They gave advice on where to eat and trips and we did most of them. Property terrace and pool area is very chic and boutique in style and lovely and although there were a few steps to our penthouse apartment, it was stunning. It has an amazing terrace overlooking roof tops and the old fort were you can sit and relax. The bathroom was top quality, kitchen area perfect and comfy bed.

Nothing - I will stay here again for sure! It was stunning.

Great location, friendly staff

Great location , really close to the centre while also being quiet. Staff were great, very responsive with any of our needs. Room was clean, comfortable bed, good AC. Pool was nice, communal areas all clean.

Upon booking we thought we would have had access to a private terrace , it’s not made clear in the description that the terrace is shared. It didn’t end up being a problem for us as the place was quiet but would have preferred clearer description that the terrace is shared. Also no cooking facilities which was tough for us as we stayed for 11 nights - would have been nice to have access to a microwave or cooker.

Lovely clean spacious apartment with friendly and accommodating hosts. Great location with great views in a peaceful setting! Would stay here again if I was to come back.

Shared facilities great. Room looked great.

Be careful which apartment you book, and it's not obvious from the information you receive! Most are around the pool and higher levels, but ours was on the street. Door onto street, no outside space except via the street. Night time was constant late night traffic of people returning from nights out. The main door is glazed with no curtain, so sunlight is in the room from 5 am! Nowhere to dry wet swimgear except using someone else's drying area. The shower room looked great, but the room flooded when using the shower. Not the peaceful stay we wanted. No welcome pack with WiFi code, etc, we had to ask other guests.

Great location and quality rooms! The pool was a great spot to cool off and relax before dinner! I booked the lovely single room which was stylish, comfortable bed, and safe. Highly recommend!!

We loved our stay here at Ante Apartments! It was clean, such a short walk to town and so beautiful! We highly recommend this stay as everything was so easy to access.

One of the apartments aircon did not work, but the host went out of their way to try and fix it. They eventually could at it was all sorted!

Good for solo travellers

The location was perfect, only a few minutes from the centre of Hvar. The aparment was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The area was quiet at night but well lit. My apartment had direct access to the pavement and felt very independent.

Because of its location on the ground floor and with direct access to the outside, I felt I couldn´t really open the windows to ventilate without being seen. Also, there were no blackout blinds and I woke up very early in the morning. The apartment felt a bit humid.

A beautiful renovation let down by poor communication, misleading listing details, noise issues, and several basic servi

The room we stayed in was recently renovated and felt brand new — we were apparently one of the first 10 guests. The bed was quite comfortable, the pillows were nice, and the overall aesthetic was clean and modern.

Check-in was not seamless — communication was unclear and it wasn’t obvious who to contact, which delayed things. The room we stayed in is not part of the main property but in a separate building next door — something not made clear in the listing. That room faces directly onto the street, so it was very noisy, which contradicted our expectations based on the original property reviews. The shower design is poor — it flooded the apartment due to no proper guard or door. The air conditioning broke during our stay and couldn’t be fixed that night; we were given a fan, but with the street noise and bugs, we couldn’t open the window for relief. The fridge wasn’t cleaned (raw meat left from previous guests), and there was no coffee machine as advertised. The room layout differed from the photos. Lastly, when we arrived, the window was left open and the room was full of flies. The owner and staff were not particularly warm or welcoming either.

Location was perfect - 5 minute walk to the restaurants, bars and marina. The pool area is small although very nice. Hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Description of our apartment a bit misleading. Said 'Apartment with Pool View'. The 'pool view' was from the kitchen window if you were standing at the sink. We had assumed that our apartment would be one of the ones with the terrace overlooking the pool. Bit of noise sometimes from the street below.

Great stay in lovely Hvar

The apartments are ideal for a couple, very clean and spacious and the bed was so comfortable. the pillows were so soft and the bedding smelt amazing! the shower was hot and powerful and everything was clean. There was a mini fridge, kettle and toaster in the room as well as a glass, mug and bowl each. Aircon worked perfectly and kept us at a great temperature. Only a 5 mins walk to the main centre and the views from the apartments look over the fortress. The pool area is small but lovely with parasols to protect you from the very hot sun should you need them! The host was also friendly and checked on us to ensure everything was ok. Definitely recommend staying here!

It was a little difficult to find at first as there’s no signs outside, just look for the street name and number! once you find it, it’s very easy to get to and from :)

Fantastic stay, lovely location, great amenities

Location was very central to the island of Hvar once I figured out the winding roads! The room was incredibly comfortable and well stocked with cups, tea and other helpful amenities. The whole room was beautifully renovated and spacious. The pool was great too, I went in off season but the apartment had lovely beach chairs for guests to use.

The street was a bit confusing and winding and Google was no help but I texted Doris and she got back to me very quickly.

Lovely stay in Hvar in a beautiful, modern apartment that I would defintely return to.

We stayed in the penthouse apartment which was stunning. It was very modern, spacious and had everything we needed for our week in Hvar. The huge balcony was beautiful with lovely views over Hvar town. Doris and her husband were very helpful and were happy to give recommendations. Initially the pool looked small but it’s perfect for a dip to cool down at the end of the day. The pool area was lovely and although small we never found it difficult to get a sun lounger. Would definitely recommend this property!

Poor WiFi reception, even at pool area. No wardrobe to hang long items of clothing. There were hooks but not enough space for a week. We also didn’t feel the sign at the pool was very welcoming. It stated that you were not allowed to use the pool area after check out. This is fair enough but I think a simple reminder from the host would be sufficient rather than a huge sign.
