Beautiful 6 bedroom house for 17 guests next to Edgbaston Stadium

The location of this house was great for where we needed to be. Easy to get to from the motorway. Handy for the park and Edgbaston. Good amount of space for parking. Easy to get the keys. Good size fridge. Kids liked the pac man arcade machine.

The house is dated and run down. The floor is coming up. The conservatory was freezing so no where for us all to eat together. There was not enough towels for everyone. The bathroom which is connected to the kitchen had a see through door so not great for getting a shower! One of the showers upstairs was leaking and also not able to use if someone else was in another shower as it was either boiling hot or freezing which made it very difficult for people to get ready as were limited to using the showers Some of the beds were ok but some of the mattresses are tired and worn. The whole house had a tired feel to it and reminded me of a student house. Not worth the money.

We stayed at the property as it was a 20minute drive to Birmingham NEC and we were showing our dog there. We liked the size of the property, the ease of finding it, and the number of bathrooms on offer. Beds comfy.

The cleanliness leaves something to be desired. The floors downstairs were not great. The bathrooms had limescale and mould around the shower cubicles and some of the fixtures needed an upgrade. There was tea bags, coffee & sugar in the kitchen but the first place I’ve stayed where no milk left in the fridge for guests. The bathroom next to the kitchen has a glass door so when someone is using the shower you can see everything. The garden is not secure, so if you have children of dogs be careful. The carpet on the stairs was rank. We just wanted to order a take away and sit with a movie but the TV didn’t even turn on. We unplugged and tried again and it came on, but we couldn’t get the virgin TV (just normal terrestrial TV) to work. Eventually one of our more tech savvy members was able to get Netflix working by putting in the password for the house WiFi. We wouldn’t stay at this accommodation again.

said it was a beautiful 6 bedroom house , far from it , in need of modernisation , cracked plaster , hole in bedroom floor , no light switches on landing posing a health and safety risk, conservatory doors unsecured could easily be kicked in ,could not leave valuables in the house, bath unclean human hairs found , so much for cleaning company they hire, upstairs bedroom had a broken window pane, settee split in lounge , all second hand furniture uncomfortable. remote control would not work the tv batteries corroded. told the property company but they were disinterested in these deficits . no plug in kitchen sinks , no tin opener only one oven glove , told the property company , not interested a case of go out and buy your own. booking.com were not interested either shameful will not use again , and take my name off the system , DO Not go to this property ,very dated , poorly maintained ,uncomfortable , also watch the 200 deposit in case of damage what about them paying you 200 back for poor standard of property ,booking.com just do not care

Location was great.

The house was dated but served it's purpose for us to the stay the night. Communication with host regarding check in and key access could be improved.
